[Watch] Indians - "I Am Haunted" (Official Video)
Indians, the moniker of Copenhagen solo artist Søren Løkke Juul, unveils his new video for "I Am Haunted", one of many sprawling, atmospheric cuts comprising his debut album Somewhere Else. Directed by Winston H. Case, the clip envisions a scenario in which Søren is the prisoner of an unidentifiable female, tied to a chair in a dimly-lit basement. As the video progresses he falls victim to beatings and torture, both physical and mental, culminating with a chilling final image. Watch the clip above.
Indians' debut LP Somewhere Else is out next week on 4AD.
[Watch] Kendrick Lamar Performs "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "Poetic Justice" on SNL
Saturday Night Live is a proving ground for late-night television, serving as a reminder for the mainstream of who's got it and who doesn't. Kendrick Lamar proved that last night when he performed on the long-running sketch comedy show. As if his amazing studio debut good kid m.A.A.d. city didn't display his talent enough, Lamar's confident live renditions of both "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "Poetic Justice" surely did. The Compton rapper went beyond that calm, collected demeanor, though, making an appearance in The Lonely Island's digital short for their Adam Levine-featuring single "Yolo". Check out all three videos below.

[Listen] The Strokes - "One Way Trigger"
The Strokes came out of left field yesterday with a brand new track from their yet-to-be-titled fifth studio album, a quick-paced cut titled "One Way Trigger". Right off the bat, you'll be surprised by the unexpected falsetto, which does in fact belong to Julian Casablancas. Broadening his vocal chops, the singer lets his voice loose alongside the usual accompaniment of instrumentation, as well as a synth line reminiscent of A-ha's "Take On Me" (the song is ridiculously catchy, so that's not bashing The Strokes in any way).
While we were expecting to hear the lead single "All the Time" first (it should surface soon), "One Way Trigger" proves to be a great first listen from the band's upcoming LP. Stream and download the track below.
[Watch] Electric Guest Perform "The Bait" on Conan
Los Angeles band Electric Guest paid a visit to late night television's king of awkward, Conan O'Brien, where they performed their song "The Bait". Check out their live rendition of the track above.
Electric Guest's debut album Mondo is out now.
[Listen] Jagwar Ma - "The Throw"
Sydney duo Jagwar Ma briefly entered my radar last year, but shortly after they appeared they drifted away. Until yesterday that is. The duo are back, following up last year's "Come Save Me" and "What Love?" with a new single titled "The Throw". Clocking in at nearly seven minutes, the song combines elements of surf pop with nostalgic '60s vibes, all the while electronic elements flicker in and out effortlessly. With a length such as this, "The Throw" does transform as it progresses, adopting a darker, electronic-oriented sound as it goes. It's a refreshingly expansive soundscape, and hopefully the pair build upon these elements. Stream it below.
[Listen] NONONO - "Human Being"
Following in the footsteps of fellow Swedish trio Miike Snow, NONONO combines producer duo Astma & Rocwell and singer Stina Wäppling. Bringing their talents together, the result is a dazzling pop array bursting with pulsating synth lines and expansive vocals. This trio is definitely worth keeping an eye on, and head here to watch the video for their previous single "Like The Wind".
[Listen] Memoryhouse - "Shades Of Our Life"
Memoryhouse have been rather quiet since they released their debut album The Slideshow Effect early last year, but that doesn't mean they don't appreciate their supporters. Their new song "Shades of Our Life" and its accompanying may, as the band said themselves, sound "too much like a shampoo commercial", the actually untitled track is their gift to fans. Capturing that fantastic bedroom-borne sound of their debut album, the song is calm, glittering and serene, something to sit back and relax. The video is also pretty great, and was directed by band member Denise Nouivon. Check it out above.

[Watch] Foals - "My Number" (Official Video)
Foals blew us away last fall with two great singles, "Inhaler" and "My Number". Now, the latter, with its electro-tinge and frantic guitar riffs, has a companion video, which expertly drags us throughout one of the band's gigs. Check out the flashy, drug-fueled experience above.
"Inhaler" and "My Number" are the first two singles from the band's third album Holy Fire, which is out on February 12th.
