[SKOA Premiere] Track-By-Track Through Biffy Clyro's New Album, 'Opposites' (Part One)

So here in the UK Biffy Clyro are a headlining act of festivals, they're currently on an arena headline tour, and are becoming a household name. Casing point, this summer they'll headline Reading & Leeds festival alongside Green Day and Eminem. Their new album Opposites scored them their first ever number one album in the UK. Stateside they're also beginning to make waves, and to celebrate we've got a few exclusive track by track explanations of the sensational new album for you coming up over the next few days. First up we have Simon Neil, James JohnstonBen Johnston talking about "The Thaw" which closes off the first part of the double LP. See what they have to say about it above.

[Listen] Stream The Strokes' Record Store Day B-side, "Fast Animals"

The Strokes will be giving their Comedown Machine lead single "All The Time" a 7" physical release for this year's Record Store Day, which takes place on April 20th. Serving as a b-side to the release will be an upbeat number titled "Fast Animals". The b-side is actually a faster-paced, alternate recording of the track "Slow Animals", one of the eleven songs included on the band's fifth LP. Check it out below.

Comedown Machine is out tomorrow through RCA Records.

[Download] James Blake Offers Up New Track "Our Love Comes Back"

James Blake has been consistently dishing out new tracks from his upcoming sophomore album Overgrown, all of which have been fantastic. Today, he's offering up yet another, and this time it's free to download. Titled "Our Love Comes Back", the song is available over at Amazon. Be warned, though, it is a live version, so what we hear on the final album could be different. Nonetheless, it's hauntingly beautiful and worth the price of a click.

[News] Daft Punk Announce May 21st Release Date for New Album, 'Random Access Memories'

Daft Punk's fourth album, their first since 2005's Human After All, now has an official release date. May 21st. Mark your calendars, right now.

Titled Random Access Memories, the album is now available to pre-order on iTunes. Apple's music store also reveals that the album will feature thirteen tracks, although the track titles have yet to be revealed. This fits with Columbia's recent licensing of new tracks from the French duo.

Many of you might remember a few weeks ago when Daft Punk sneakily slipped a 15-second commercial during an episode of Saturday Night Live. Well, they've done it again. Once again premiering during SNL, this 15-second clip features a snippet of new music. The duo have also launched a website for the album, which features another snippet of new music. Here's hoping we'll hear a full track soon.
