[News] Kings Of Convenience Announce Fall West Coast Dates

Quiet rockers Kings of Convenience have announced that they will be playing two shows in California this fall.

Tickets for both shows go on sale this weekend. LA pre-sale is Friday (7/29) at 10am PT and the San Francisco show pre-sale is on Saturday (7/30) 10am PT.

Generationals have just launced a remix competition for their two hottest tracks off their sophomore release Actor-Caster. The rules are fairly simple: download the stems of either "Greenleaf" or "Ten-Twenty-Ten" (or both, if you're feel extra ambitious) and create a remix using the software of your choice.  Submit your remix via their SoundCloud DropBox. Two winners will be chosen to receive a free 3-month trial membership to music streaming service Rdio.  Winners will also receive an Rdio tote bag and a prize pack of Park The Van goodies, including CDs, vinyl and digital downloads.  

In celebration of the remix competition, the band is giving away their Medium Rarities EP, which features one brand new track, one alternate version of an older track, and two remixes, for the actual retail price of $FREE.99 courtesy of the widget below.

[News] The Drums Announce North American Tour

With the release of The Drums' second studio album Portamento set for September 12th in the UK and the 13th in North America, the announcement of a supporting tour was inevitable. Today, the band announced just that, with plans for a North American tour immediately following their return from a European festival circuit. Starting on September 28th and ending on November 6th, the tour will take the New Yorkers all across North America, including major stops such as Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, Austin, and Miami.

[News] Manchester Orchestra Announce UK Tour

After playing a string of small shows earlier in the year Manchester Orchestra will return to the land of Britannia and perform a headline tour of 5 Cities starting out at Bristol on October 2nd finishing off 5 days later on the 7th with a show at Koko in London. Peep the dates below and get excited. I just nearly dropped my laptop when I found out so if you're going to the Manchester show, I'll see you there!

[News] Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce UK Tour

Red Hot Chili Peppers are back and they mean business. We had their brand new track just a few weeks ago titled, "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie". Today they announce their first UK tour since 2006 and having seen them on that tour I advise you to seem at least once while you still can!
