[Watch] Rival Schools - "Eyes Wide Open" (Video)

Guys: don't trust beautiful women with intense back tattoos in sexy red dresses. Especially if they have a gun and want to get in a limo with you. That's pretty much what I learned from Rival Schools' new video for their single, "Eyes Wide Open" off their latest release, Pedals.

The band is heading out on tour this fall starting in mid-October. For those of you lucky enough to be in Chicago this weekend for Lollapalooza, you can catch them not once but TWICE over the course of the weekend.

Have a look at dates after the jump.

[Watch] Hail Mary Mallon - "Breakdance Beach" (Video) x Upcoming Tour Dates w/ Kimya Dawson

Another day, another fresh video from the hip hop trio that is Hail Mary Mallon (Aesop Rock, Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz). Check out the video for HMM's B-Boy friendly single "Breakdance Beach"directed by Alex Tarrant and Justin Metros from their debut album Are You Gonna Eat That? now available on Rhymesayers.  The song's title pretty much explains the concept of the video which includes break-dancers doing their thing on well....a beach. Check out the video from the crew above which features a cute cameo at the end from Kimya Dawson's kid Panda.

Speaking of Kimya Dawson, her and Aesop have announced new shows for their upcoming "A Night With Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson" tour which will also include the rest of the Mallon crew. The upcoming shows will preview new material from Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson's forthcoming solo albums as well as Aesop Rock and Kimya's forthcoming collaboration album which will be dropping this fall. Check out the tour dates after the jump.

[Watch] The Booze - "Wild One" (Video)

From their latest album, At Maximum Volume comes Atlanta band The Booze's video for their single, "Wild One". From the looks of things, these guys are nothing but trouble makers, but in some sort of endearing way that I haven't quite been able to put my finger on yet. All I know is, guys: hide your girlfriends from these grit rockers before you find yourself all alone while they're out partying.

The band will be hitting the road tomorrow for a short run of dates, which you can check out below:

Tour Dates:
Aug 4 - Indianapolis, IN - Rock Lobster
Aug 5 - Milwaukee, WI - Quarters Rock n Roll Palace
Aug 6 - Chicago, IL - Beat Kitchen

[Watch] Footage From Rage Against The Machine's First Live Performance

Rage Against The Machine returned to the live scene in '08 after announcing their hiatus in 2000 and it was 9 years prior to that that they made their first ever live outing as a band. Today via CoS/RacingAccidents2 you can watch the bands October 23rd, 1991 performance in front of a small crowd at The Quad in Cal State Northridge. With the band looking unlikely to play anymore live shows after an appearance at L.A. Rising last weekend so soak it up and maybe in 7 years we'll get another reunion tour or something? We can hope right...

[News] Doomtree Recording 2nd Crew Album, Announce Good Time Zoo Tour & Drop New Mike Mictlan Track

According to various Retweets on twitter, it looks like MPLS hip hop super group, Doomtree are back in the studio working on the follow up to their 2008 self titled album. According to Sims, if everything goes smooth we should have it late fall, hopefully, alongside the new P.O.S. album and Astronautalis and P.O.S. Four Fists album. Looks like its gonna be a Doomtree holiday season.

But that's not all the Doom crew's been up to. Sims, Lazerbeak and Cecil Otter are about to hit the road on the Good Time Zoo Tour with a few full crew shows in the mix, including one at the famed Red Rocks with SKoA Favorite RJD2. Peep the tour dates after the jump.

Lastly, we got a new previously unreleased tune from Doomtree member, Mike Mictlan, who we haven't heard much from since the release of his album with Lazerbeak, Hand Over Fist. Peep the Beatchefs produced joint "Cogs + Flywheels" in the player below, which you can download by naming your own price. DOOMTREE!
