[News] The Kooks Add US Tour Dates

In addition to their previously announced tour dates in Europe, Brit rockers The Kooks have announced even more tour dates to fill up the rest of their year. This time around, the band will be heading stateside to support their next album Junk of the Heart, which hits stores on September 13th. The band will be going on a 17-date U.S. tour beginning on November 15th in Philadelphia. It'll be the group's first trek in three years, during which they've emerged as one of the hottest young bands in the U.K.
Expect the Kooks' new material to be some of their most upbeat yet. "What we really wanted to do was build a proper, full album," frontman Luke Pritchard tells SPIN. "Something you can listen to from front to back." SPIN also has an exclusive download of a new song — an awesome acoustic version of the album's killer title track, which has been burning up alternative radio this summer. Download it in exchange for an email address below.
You can check out the band's Fall tour dates after the jump.

[Watch] Ghostpoet - "Liines" (Video)
In his video for "Liines", it's hard to tell if Ghostpoet plays with words or if they play with him. I guess that's up for us to decide for sure. The single comes from his now 2011 Barclaycard Mercury Prize nominated Album Of The Year debut Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam.
As any good artist should when releasing an album, Ghostpoet is will be hitting the road in September after some successful performances at Glastonbury, Sonar and The Great Escape to headline a tour of his very own.
