[Listen] Jape - "Scorpio"
"Scorpio" is the next single from Irish rock outfit Jape's latest release Ocean of Frequency, which is out now on Music/Is/For/Losers. I love how this upbeat little number swirls around in my headphones. It's the perfect carefree jam for the fall.
Jape will be playing a handful of dates with Bell XI in the UK during the month of December. Have a look at the dates below. Make sure you pick up Ocean of Frequency if you haven't already.

[Listen] Passion Pit Perform Two New Songs Live

It's been over two years since Passion Pit released their debut album Manners, and, save for a hefty amount of remixes, the band has kept fairly quiet. While the band has remained tight lipped on the follow-up LP, trickles of information gave the impression that the album would be released in early 2012, and, judging by the band's appearance at this weekends Moogfest 2011, I'd say that's a fair assumption. During their Sunday night show, the quintet let loose fan favourites such as "Little Secrets," "Sleepyhead" and "The Reeling," but they also slipped in a couple of surprises. The introduced two brand new songs into their live performance, the first being a song titled "American Blood," and the second being as-of-yet-untitled. You can listen to both tracks after the jump, albeit the quality isn't amazing.
