[Watch] Jay-Z Debuts "Glory" Live at Carnegie Hall

On Monday night, Jay-Z kicked off his first of two shows at New York's famed Carnegie Hall, becoming the first ever rapper to perform in the Manhattan venue. The performance included a 30-piece orchestra, which included The Roots, as well as guest appearances from Nas and Alicia Keys. The performance also saw Jay-Z performing "Glory," the rapper's musical dedication to his month old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, for the first time. Although it doesn't see the newborn taking to the stage, it's still worth checking out.

[Watch] Lucius - "Go Home" (Video)

Two years ago at CMJ I gushed about catching Lucius over at Rockwood Music Hall. Since then, the up-and-coming Brooklyn band spent some time fine tuning their craft and carefully crafting their forthcoming self-titled EP which is set to release on Valentine's Day this year. From said EP is a song I remember them toiling over way back then, "Go Home", which now is all smoothed out with its finishing touches and complete with a cool video that premiered over on Filter earlier today.

The band will be perfoming at Bowery Ballroom on February 17th with Other Lives followed by a show in Los Angelese at Echo on the 29th before making their way to SXSW to do the rounds down there.

To hold you over until the EPs release, make sure you grab their 2010 release Songs From The Bromley House as well as a free download of "Don't Just Sit There" from the upcoming EP over on their official website.

Today, the band premiered "September," the official b-side to the 7" single, along with a visual accompaniment that takes visual cues and inspiration from Jacob Escobedo's artwork for the Port Of Morrow cover. You can give the song a listen above, courtesy of Record Store Day.

Along with the release of "September," The Shins have announced additional tour dates, including a performance at this year's Sasquatch! Music Festival. Give The Shins' tour itinerary a look after the jump, with newly added dates in bold.
