[Watch] James Mercer Debuts New Shins Song Live: "It's Only Life"
The Shins' fourth studio album Port Of Morrow is set for release on March 20th, and so far we've heard the lead single from the album as well as its b-side. The single, titled "Simple Song," was released last month, with it's b-side, titled "September," following suit one month later. Now, during a solo performance at San Diego radio station 91X, the band's frontman James Mercer debuted a brand new track called "It's Only Life." The four-song set also included performances of "Simple Song," "Young Pilgrims" and "New Slang." You can stream the entire 16-minute set above, with "It's Only Life" kicking in at around 3:49 (via BPM).
Port Of Morrow is out on March 20th via Columbia Records and Mercer's own Aural Apothecary label.

A few weeks ago, Bon Iver visited the set of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where he performed his album opener "Perth." Now, weeks later, video has surfaced of an incredible jam session that took place between The Roots and Bon Iver. The result? An 8-minute extended version of "Perth," which you can watch above courtesy of Beats Per Minute.

Underrated Pittsburgh rocker duo 1,2,3 have had an excellent year, having released their debut LP New Heaven last year and releasing the free EP Dreamland, Pt. 1 last month. Despite their fantastic releases, the pair haven't recevied as much attention as they deserve. But, with the announcement of a headlining U.S. tour, the Steel City rockers hope to change that. Starting on February 25th, the band will perform in 22 cities, including a performance at this year's SXSW. Take a look at all of their tour dates after the jump.

[News] Sigur Rós Announce Live Return at Bestival, UK
Bestival takes place on the Isle of Wight a little late in the Festival season on September 6th to 9th and with the line-up announcement came one very, very nice surprise. Sigur Rós. The band haven't performed live since 2008 and with the announcement the band took to their official website and added; "we'll be announcing more tour dates soon."
Along with Sigur Rós other bands on the bill include The xx, Warpaint, Justice, De La Soul, Major Lazer, Orbital, Little Dragon, Four Tet, Caribou and a load more. For the full line-up jump on over to the very cool looking website here.

[Watch] of Montreal - "Dour Percentage" Live on Fallon
This week of Montreal returned with their new album, Paralytic Stalks, and in turn they also returned to the late night TV circuit with a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The band returned with a performance of "Dour Percentage" and brought along a fair bit of stage material with them too! Check out the video via The Audio Perv at the top to see the band fall into a world of TV screens and trippy visuals.
[News] Explosions in the Sky Announce Spring Tour Dates
Explosions in the Sky have announced a strong of tour dates fro spring in support of their release Take Care, Take Care, Take Care.Set to begin in April it will include stops at Coachella and Sasquatch! With less than a week to go until the release of Tennis' Patrick Carney-produced sophomore album Young & Old, the Denver outfit have announced supporting tour dates. Starting in their hometown of Denver on February 16th, the North American tour will take the trio to 26 different cities throughout the continent, with the tour going into the summer. The tour will also see the band performing at this year's South by Southwest and Orange You Glad festivals, as well as shows in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. alongside White Rabbits.
