[Watch] Jamie Woon - "Lady Luck" Live for Pitchfork's +1
We've been eagerly awaiting new material from the extremely talented Jamie Woon since he first dropped his LP Mirrorwriting last year. His voice soars on that record and in a live setting his beat-box loop pedal style is a force to be reckoned with. So, it was only a matter of time before Pitchfork caught up with him on a trip to the US and filmed him performing "Lady Luck" for their +1 feature. It also features a lovely little insight into the quiet young man's history. Peep it at the top.
[Watch] Andrew Bird Visits The Colbert Report
Last night Andrew Bird hit up the Colbert Report for an interview and to, to our delight, perform "Eyeoneye" and "Danse Caribe". The tracks feature on his new album, Break It Yourself, which only dropped a week again so if you're yet to give it a listen this might be a good little preview of what you've been missing out on. Check out the footage at the top and after the jump via the NJ Underground.

[Contest] [NYC-Only] Win A Pair Of Tickets To See Breton @ Mercury Lounge On 3/21!
Ever since the first listen of The Blanket Rule EP, it's been hard not to obsess over London five piece Breton. In addition to their experimental sound, we learned that experiencing the band live is more than just checking out some great music, it's a performance deeply enriched in multimedia. The band is currently heading to SXSW to make the rounds to promote their upcoming album Other People's Problems, which is out on March 26th (April 3rd in the US) via FatCat. When the complete chaos that is SXSW is over, the band will be making their debut in NYC at Mercury Lounge on March 21st and we want you to be there!
