[Listen] The Horrors - "Ocean’s Burning" x "Still Life" (Electropsychacoustic) Session for 6 Music

Yesterday on BBC 6 Music, The Horrors took a visit to Lauren Laverne's Morning Show during which they all felt more than a little under the weather! However the band charged onward to lay down what they called an "electropsychacoustic" set of some Skying highlights. They played "Ocean's Burning" and today Lauren played a rendition of "Still Life" for the listeners and those in the studio. The minimal performances sounded great and the results can be enjoyed below. Alternatively you can enjoy the entire show for the next 6 days over on the BBC website

[Watch] Foo Fighters Cover QOTSA's "Feel Good Hit of The Summer"

Last week I arrived at work one day feeling a little under the weather. It was self inflicted mind you but never the less, work is always a drag when that happens. The bells chime at 9am and we switch on the office stereo, and what is the first song that they play... Queens of the Stone Age's "Feel Good Hit of The Summer". Everything was immediately better. During their set recently at Lollapalooza Chile, Foo Fighters were mid way through a raucous performance of "Stacked Actors" when they too broke into Queens' "Feel Good" and the results can be watched at the top via the awesome folk over at Antiquiet.

[Watch] Band of Skulls - "Sweet Sour" Live on Letterman

The UK's Band of Skulls visited the Ed Sullivan Theater and David Letterman last week to put in a stellar performance of their single "Sweet Sour" which features on their album of the same name. Bringing their three-piece blues infusion to the television of those at home it's good to see these guys getting some more coverage in the US. See what you make of them doing their thing up at the top via The Audio Perv.

[Watch] Dirty Ghosts - "Ropes That Way" (Official Video)

A new video from Dirty Ghosts does this way come. For the track "Ropes That Way" it features Allyson Baker minus a guitar wandering the streets promptly rocking out with just a mic. Walking around with a barrage of passing houses and imagery it's pretty cool to see a lady minus a guitar. The track features on Dirty Ghosts' full length, wonderful debut, Metal Moon. Watch the video via CoS at the top and peep the upcoming tour dates after the jump.

[Watch] Kasabian - "Days Are Forgotten" Live From Terminal 5

Kasabian in the UK are a force to be reckoned with. They headline festivals on a yearly basis and tour relentlessly to hoards of adoring fans. I wasn't sure how much the US fancied them as a live band, or a band full stop to be honest. This video goes some what to show the reaction the band are getting on their current North American tour though. Filmed during the band's show at New York's Terminal 5, the band give a fast paced, energetic performance of the Velociraptor! featuring track, "Days Are Forgotten". Check it out at the top of the page and see their other tour dates after the jump.
