[News] Ty Segall Band Details New Album: 'Slaughterhouse'
San Francisco psychedelic rocker Ty Segall has announced that the second of his three albums to be released this year, the first being a joint LP with White Fence, is titled Slaughterhouse and will see him teaming up with Mikal Cronin, Charlie Moothart, and Emily Rose Epstein as the Ty Segall Band. The effort will be released on June 26th via In The Red, following the April 24th release of his collaborative album with White Fence. The 11-track album will be followed by an as-of-yet-untitled solo album from Segall, which is set for release in September.

The Black Angels pick up an attractive naked hitchhiker (thus NSFW) in their new video for their latest track, "Entrance Song". With Record Store Day just a few days away (yessss) don't forget about their exclusive RSD release of their new track, "I'd Rather Be Lonely" which will be released on 7" orange vinyl and will include another unreleased song, "Watch Out Boy". Included in the package is a download card featuring a bonus MP3 of their cover of The Zombies’ “She’s Not There.”

Last night Later... with Jools Holland returned to the TV sets of many a British household, well, those wanting to enjoy some talented musicians before heading to bed. On the show Willis Earl Beal appeared and put in a performance of his Acousmatic Sorcery featuring track, "Swing On Low". A fine performance it was too. Next week the show is set to have appearances from Grimes, Jack White, Norah Jones and Alabama Shakes. We've already seen the likes of Bon Iver, St. Vincent, Radiohead, and more tear up the Coachella stages, and now you can watch full sets from The Black Keys, The Weeknd (his U.S. debut), Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg (featuring guest appearances from Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and a holographic recreation of Tupac), as well as New Jersey indie rock trio Real Estate. She offers up some vocal duties and the aptly named track is actually available for free if you jump over here and simply offer up your email. You can give it a stream at the top though too via a lyric video, 'cos we're nice like that.

[News] Reading & Leeds Festival Announce Lock Up Stage
We've already had the first announcement of Reading & Leeds Festival in which we found out Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, The Cure, Kasabian, Florence & The Machine and a load more bands will make up the main stage along with the likes of Justice and At The Drive In on the NME stage. Today, they've announced the Lock Up stage and it's got some goodies! Headlining will be Less Than Jake and Social Distortion and filling out the days will be Anti-Flag, Every Time I Die, Me First and The Gimme Gimmes, Gallows, Trash Talk, Bouncing Souls, Ceremony and a host of others.
