[Watch] Bon Iver Covers The Band's "Ophelia"

Last week, The Band's famed multi-instrumentalist Levon Helm passed away, and since then numerous musicians from across the board, including The Black Keys, have since paid tribute following his passing. Included in that is Bon Iver, who, during a show in San Francisco, covered The Band's "Ophelia," which you can watch above via Hidden Tracks.

A couple of days ago AdHoc shared this mixtape that he hand crafted with love from and it is all the good kinds of funky. [Listen] Ladyhawke - "Sunday Drive (Scissor Sisters Remix)"

As if I wasn't super into this song already, this remix provided by Scissor Sisters for Ladyhawke's latest single, "Sunday Drive" takes an already poptastic song, injects it full of dry ice and sends it twirling carelessly out on a disco ball-lit dance floor in a chilly foggy haze. The official "Sunday Drive" single package, complete with remixes such as this one along with ones from Willy Moon, Villa, Gigamesh, and The Slips will be available on May 27nd in the UK. Her sophomore album Anxiety drops on June 4th

[Listen] Grimes Visits World Cafe

Claire Boucher is absolutely everywhere at the moment and it's not a bad thing at all. After releasing the new Grimes album Visions she's been making festival appearances and playing live around the world. Adding another performance to an ever growing list, Grimes visited NPR's World Cafe to put in a performance of "Genesis", "Vanessa" and "Symphony IX (My Wait is U)". Kasabian performed for the masses last night on the late night circuit taking their single "Days Are Forgotten" to the stage of Jimmy Kimmel's slot. Peep their performance at the top and look out for the band on the Festival circuit this summer. The band will headline the main stage one evening at Reading & Leeds Festival with other slots across Europe also scheduled. Dates can be seen over on their official site.

[News] Vampire Weekend Bassist Chris Baio to Release Solo EP

Vampire Weekend's bassist Chris Baio has announced that he will be releasing a solo EP, titled Sunburn, through Hot Chip's Joe Goddard's co-run label Greco-Roman. The EP, which is set for release on May 21st, will include three tracks, one of which, titled "Tanto," is a collaborative effort with Matias Aguayo. "Tanto" is available to stream in full below (via Pitchfork), and after the jump you can take a look at the tracklisting for the forthcoming EP. As well, Baio will be performing DJ sets in New York, San Francisco, London, and Toronto in support of the release before heading to Pitchfork Music Festival to join his Vampire Weekend bandmates as headliners. [Watch] Bon Iver Performs "Towers" and "Michicant" on Ellen

Acclaimed outfit Bon Iver paid a visit to the set of Ellen this morning to perform live renditions of "Towers" and "Michicant," both from last year's top scoring Bon Iver, Bon Iver. "Towers," which you can watch above, served as the television performance, while "Michicant," which you can watch after the jump, was offered up as a web exclusive performance. Nothing like a little bit of Bon Iver to bring the week to a close.

Girls returned to the late night circuit last night with a visit to Conan O'Brien's stage. They were their to perform the track "Love Like a River" which features on Father, Son, Holy Ghost.
