[Listen & Download] Dent May - Escape From Groove Mountain (Mixtape)

You need something to groove out to on the last few hours leading up to the weekend? Dent May has got you covered. A couple of days ago AdHoc shared this mixtape that he hand crafted with love from and it is all the good kinds of funky. This mixtape, of course, is a little somethingsomething to hold you over until his sophomore album Do Things drops on June 12th via Paw Tracks. If you haven't heard the album's first single "Best Friend" yet, hit up that as well. For now, grab a listen below after taking a peek at the tracklist. He's also set to hit the road starting in May, so have a look at tour dates after the jump.

[Listen] Ladyhawke - "Sunday Drive (Scissor Sisters Remix)"

As if I wasn't super into this song already, this remix provided by Scissor Sisters for Ladyhawke's latest single, "Sunday Drive" takes an already poptastic song, injects it full of dry ice and sends it twirling carelessly out on a disco ball-lit dance floor in a chilly foggy haze. The official "Sunday Drive" single package, complete with remixes such as this one along with ones from Willy Moon, Villa, Gigamesh, and The Slips will be available on May 27nd in the UK. Her sophomore album Anxiety drops on June 4th

[News] Vampire Weekend Bassist Chris Baio to Release Solo EP

Vampire Weekend's bassist Chris Baio has announced that he will be releasing a solo EP, titled Sunburn, through Hot Chip's Joe Goddard's co-run label Greco-Roman. The EP, which is set for release on May 21st, will include three tracks, one of which, titled "Tanto," is a collaborative effort with Matias Aguayo. "Tanto" is available to stream in full below (via Pitchfork), and after the jump you can take a look at the tracklisting for the forthcoming EP. As well, Baio will be performing DJ sets in New York, San Francisco, London, and Toronto in support of the release before heading to Pitchfork Music Festival to join his Vampire Weekend bandmates as headliners. Check out the specific locations of his DJ sets after the jump.
