[Watch] of Montreal - "Spiteful Intervention" (Video)
I'm afraid that if I ever were to take LSD that this video for of Montreal's "Spiteful Intervention" is where my brain is going to go first, which is both scary and awesome because this is my favorite track on Paralytic Stalks. The colorful semi-creeptastic video was directed by Jesse Ewles and features a blog of of Montreal frontman Kevin Barnes as a blob that morphs into all sorts of shapes.
The band is currently out on tour in support of Paralytic Stalks in Europe. You can check out tour dates over on their website.
[News] Deftones & System Of A Down Announce Summer Tour
After dropping some hints on Twitter over the past weekend, news has been announced of yet an unbelievably awesome tour in the US. It will consist of Deftones and System Of A Down hitting up 9 dates in the US and Canada. Last year Deftones took Dillinger Escape Plan on tour with them and now this? The UK needs some love too, you know. System take the top slot on the bill with Chino and co listed as "Special Guests". It's sure to be one hell of a show (or 9!). Peep the dates below and get excited if you're stateside.
Deftones are looking to release a follow up to the impeccable Diamond Eyes later this year.

[News] Passion Pit Announce Sophomore Album
Photo by Kyle Dean Reinford (via Pitchfork)
Details have just been released about the highly anticipated sophomore album from Passion Pit. Following up 2009's debut Manners, the full length is titled Goassamer and will be available on July 24th courtesy of Columbia Records. Gossamer was made over the course of the past year in both Los Angeles and New York City and was produced by Chris Zane, who electro-mastermind Michael Angelakos worked with previously on Manners.
“On Gossamer there is more of a dichotomy between the lyrics and the music. You hear my lyrics more precisely which is something I was ready for. The lyrics on this album have a lot to say about what the last two years of my life have been troubled with,” explains Angelakos.
Passion Pit have some tour dates coming up next month complete with plenty of summer festival gigs after that where new songs will be debuted alongside all of our favorites from Manners and the Chunk of Change EP. In September they will also co-headline with Hot Chip at Hollywood Bowl. We're almost certain more dates will be announced as Gossamer's release date approaches. Have a look at the dates below.

[Listen] Pulled Apart by Horses - "Blue Jeans" (Lana Del Rey Cover) (in Radio One's Live Lounge)
By now you know that we have more than a small soft spot for the Leeds noisemakers know as Pulled Apart By Horses. Today they were the guests on Fearne Cotton's BBC Radio One show and they were there to have a chat along with play some tunes in the Live Lounge. First up they played their single "Wolf Hand" but you know why we're here and why they were there, a cover. The band put in a cover of Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans" putting their own mark on it leaving the final product almost unrecognisable upon first listen. Seriously, these guys just know how to have fun and they do it oh so well. Check it out below and head over to the official BBC website for more info.
Their latest album Tough Love is out now so go pick up a copy.
[Wacth] fun. - "We Are Young" Live on Letterman
It's hard to escape this song at the moment. It's getting played to death by most radio stations in the UK, I don't know about elsewhere but hey, it's not getting too old (yet). Last night fun. visited David Letterman to perform "We Are Young" with the results being viewable again at the top of the page courtesy of The Audio perv.
Their album Some Nights is out now.
[Watch] The Hives - "Go Right Ahead" Live on Kimmel
Making their TV comeback, last night The Hives took to the stage of Jimmy Kimmel to put in a raucous performance of their track "Go Right Ahead". The track is set to feature on their forthcoming album Lex Hives which is set to drop in June. See what they've been up to while they were away though with the performance at the top via The Audio Perv.
[Watch] Frank Ocean Debuts New Song "Forrest Gump" at Coachella
During his performance last night at Coachella's second weekend, Odd Future soul crooner Frank Ocean not only covered Lauryn Hill's "Tell Him" and performed a fantastic live rendition of his track "American Wedding," but he also premiered a brand new track from his forthcoming debut LP. The song is rumoured to be titled "Forrest Gump," and given how many times he says that during the song it is most likely true. Check it out above, and after the jump you can watch Ocean's onstage renditions of Lauryn Hill's "Tell Me" and his own track "American Wedding" (via Pitchfork).
