[Watch] Dave Matthews and Barack Obama Perform on Fallon
Last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, those watching were met with surprise when the late night host paid a visit to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While there, Mr. Fallon met up with songwriter Dave Matthews and none other than the President of the United States, Barack Obama. What ensued was one of the most stand-out moments in recent late night history, as the President proceeded to "slow jam" the news, backed by Jimmy and The Roots. Student loan reform never sounded so good. Check it out above.
On the Dave Matthews side of things, the musician joined Fallon to perform the host's own past jam, "Dorms, Shower Baskets, and The Walk of Shame," following it up with the premiere of a brand new song from the Dave Matthews Band's forthcoming LP titled "Mercy." Check them both out after the jump.

[Watch] Norah Jones - "Happy Pills"Live on Later... with Jools Holland
Last night's Later... with Jools Holland was one for the books. We've already seen Jack White, Alabama Shakes and Grimes perform track on the twice weekly broadcast show for BBC. Finally for your viewing pleasure is the delightful Norah Jones, who dropped by to perform her track "Happy Pills" which feature on her newly released Danger Mouse produced LP, ...Little Broken Hearts. Enjoy the footage at the top. What a night. I personally can't wait for Friday's broadcast for some more musical magic to take place.
[Download] Pulled Apart By Horses 4 Track Live EP
Yesterday we threw up a copy of Pulled Apart By Horses cover of Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans" that the band did in Radio One's Live Lounge. Shortly after, the band went one better and offered it up for download via their Facebook! Not only have they offered that track but 3 other Live renditions of tracks from their recently released album Tough Love. "Wolf Hand", "Everything Dipped In Gold" and "Night Of The Living" all make the cut. Take 10 minutes of your day and enjoy some music that's both live and loud by jumping over to their official Facebook page.
[Watch] Jack White - "Sixteen Saltines" x "Freedom at 21" Live on Later... with Jools Holland
When something has been missing from your life for a while you can have a tendency to over indulge once it returns to your life. I do not think this is possible with Jack White. After releasing his brilliant solo debut Blunderbuss this week he took to the stage of Later... with Jools Holland with his new blue aesthetic in tow for two rousing renditions of tracks. First up was "Sixteen Saltines" (viewable at the top), the infectious single before later in the show a spine tingling performance of "Freedom at 21" (available after the jump) went down. Damn it's good to have Jack back.
On a side note it looks like we'll be having a lot more from him as he's been announced to score Disney's Lone Ranger film which stars Johnny Depp. More information over on Variety.
Blunderbuss is out now.
