[News] The Flaming Lips Unveil Details for Record-Breaking 24-Hour Tour
The Flaming Lips are no strangers at performing outlandish stunts and being all around ridiculous guys, but this time around they're going for a record breaking attempt. The band are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for Most Concerts in One Day later this month where they will play eight consecutive shows in three different states over the course of twenty-four hours. Last night, they revealed the details regarding the tour, including their specific route and who will be opening for them.
Kicking things off in Memphis, TN on June 27th at 7:30pm EST, The Flaming Lips will then carry on to perform in Clarksdale, MS, Oxford, MS, Jackson, MS, Hattiesburg, MS, Biloxi, MS, Baton Rouge, LA and finally New Orleans. The band will also be backed up by the likes of Neon Indian, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Grimes, and several others over the course of their record-breaking tour. After rumours began to circle a few days ago on Twitter, confirmation has come today of two intimate shows from Refused set for August. Check them out below. Lucky for fans in Manchester and London! Parisian beatmaker and producer Onra has announced a summer tour in support of his upcoming EP Deep In The Night, which includes the awesome, funky track "L.O.V.E." The tour will take the artist across North America over the course of the entire summer, with the current leg of his tour wrapping up in Toronto and Montreal tonight and tomorrow. Starting on July 31st in Brooklyn, the tour will see TEED stopping by nine major cities across the continent over the course of twleve days. Check out his full tour itinerary after the jump.

[News] Muse Announce European Tour
Following the news of a new Muse album yesterday, the three piece from Devon have now followed it up with a tour announcement.Scheduled for later in 2012 the band will play dates around Europe including the UK. The internet kind of blew up yesterday when the band posted the new teaser mainly because of the dubstep vibe it gave of. I'm still kind of waiting for them to say "ahhh, joke's on you" as these guys are a funny bunch... Or that the snippet we heard is the only dub aspect the album will contain and they've just managed to create a whole lot of buzz with the use of it. You can't judge an album from a 30 second clip so for now we wait to see what the future holds but if you're interested in checking out these guys live you can register interest in the tickets here, which is not on a first come, first served basis.
