[Watch] Michael Kiwanuka - "I'm Getting Ready" Live on Conan

I've spent a couple of days out of the office and because of that I've become ill from the grim UK weather and not wrapping up warm enough. As well as that though I also let this beautiful performance from Micahel Kiwanuka slip through the cracks, apologies. At the start of 2012 he was hotly tipped to go on to bigger and better things and I think it's safe to say he has and last night proved it with a performance of "I'm Getting Ready" on Conan O'Brien's late night slot. [Watch] Passion Pit - "Take A Walk" x "Carried Away" on Saturday Night Live

Over the weekend Passion Pit took the stage at Saturday Night Live to deliver two stellar performances from their sophomore album, Gossamer. The band is currently on tour in support of the album, with dates all across the US and select dates in the UK from now through December. Head over to their website for more details. [Watch] The xx - "Chained" (Official Video)

Recently, London indie pop outfit The xx teamed up with The Creators Project (the Intel and Vice partnership) for the making of their video for, "Chained", which comes from their recent release Coexist. According to the band, "Spending 2 days underwater wasn't quite as easy as we thought." Thankfully it was well worth their efforts.

Don't forget about their upcoming string of shows in December, which are unfortunately all sold out at this point, so hopefully you're already covered on that front.

[Watch] Grizzly Bear - "Speak In Rounds" Live on Leno

We've seen one notable performance on the Late Show with Jay Leno this week and last night we notched that up to two when Grizzly Bear took to the stage. It's been hard to escape Ellie Goulding recently, her new album Halcyon was released this week, and her single "Anything Could Happen" is on every radio station every hour or so. Last night she continued her domination of pretty much everything with a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and brought with her a performance of the aforementioned single. [Watch] Yeasayer - "Reagan's Skeleton" (Official Video)

Yeasayer are currently taking a break between tours, and in the meantime they have a brand new video for the Fragrant World track "Reagan's Skeleton". The video sees the band performing the song in the studio, with a tinge of VHS-style layering adding some visual fidelity to the clip. Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard direct. Watch the replay above.

[Watch] Sharon Van Etten - "Serpents" Live on Jools Holland

As well as that performance from Jessie Ware that we saw not too long ago on Later... with Jools Holland, we also got to see Sharon Van Etten return to the television screens for the first time since way back at the start of the year. She performed her track "Serpents" with the help of her band and you can watch it at the top. Nice use of an Ebow at the start of the track. Always fun to play around with those.

[News] Ty Segall Announces North American Tour Dates

Ty Segall has been busy this year, having released three albums in less than eight months and numerous tour dates supporting them. The San Francisco psych rocker will continue to support the albums with a North American tour, which kicks off in January following a European tour and a short West Coast stint.
