[Watch] Vampire Weekend Perform Three New Tracks Live
Vampire Weekend performed in New York City last night, recording the mini concert especially for Canada's QTV. During the performance, Ezra Keonig and co. played three songs from their upcoming album Modern Vampires of the City, including "Diane Young", "Unbelievers" and "Ya Hey". You can find the first at 6:20 in the first video, while the latter two can be heard at the 19:09 and 43:44 marks of the second video. If that's not enough to satisfy, band members Ezra and Rostam Batmanglij took part in an interview with Q host Jian Ghomeshi.
[Watch] Kendrick Lamar Visits Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Kendrick Lamar returned to the late night TV circuit once more last night. This time he was visiting the outdoor stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and with him he brought along two, to be expected, stellar performances. Taking highlights "Poetic Justice" and a slightly more child friendly version of "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" from his still amazing album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, and he rocked the stage as well as ever. Check out the former at the top with the latter being available after the jump.

[Watch] Bad Books Live Session for Baeble
If you've been reading SKoA for a while you might be aware that I (Shey) have a bit of a love for everything Andy Hull, whether it be Manchester Orchestra, Bad Books or Right Away, Great Captain! Today I was happy to see an email in the inbox in regards to Bad Books and a session featuring Andy and Kevin Devine recorded at Baeble HQ. It features them performing some tracks acoustically along with some interesting interviews between tracks. They perform "Forest Whitaker", "You're a Mirror I Cannot Avoid", "It Never Stops".
Bad Books' new album II is out now. Also, in related news, it looks like Manchester Orchestra are getting along nicely in their new sessions for a follow up to Simple Math going from the video posted on their Facebook the other week. Sounding rather loud! Lovely.
[Watch] Django Django - "Life's A Beach" Live on Leno
Django Django made their US TV debut earlier in the week in the shape of a performance of "Life's A Beach" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In case you missed it on Wednesday evening, or like me you're in the UK and didn't have a chance to watch it at all because of that giant ocean between you and an American TV, hit play above.
[Watch] Wavves - "Demon to Lean On" Live on Letterman
Last night Nathan Williams brought his depressing yet catchy tunes to late night telly with his band Wavves. Bringing along a performance of "Demon to Lean On" to the Ed Sullivan theater and the Late Show with David Letterman the performance was raw and on point. The track features on the newly released album, Afraid of Heights. When the guitars are left to let rip this performance rocks, but I'm not quite sold on Nathan with minimal backing, maybe it was an off day. Still rather enjoyed it though. See what you make of it above.
[Watch] Phoenix Perform "Entertainment" Live for QTV
Phoenix give their Bankrupt! lead single "Entertainment" the live treatment, stopping by Canada's QTV to do a stripped down rendition of the song. It sounds pretty fantastic, but the only one that really looks into it is guitarist Christian Mazzalai. Hopefully they bring more excitement during their upcoming tour (see the full schedule after the jump). Check out the live performance below.

[Download] James Blake Offers Up New Track "Our Love Comes Back"
James Blake has been consistently dishing out new tracks from his upcoming sophomore album Overgrown, all of which have been fantastic. Today, he's offering up yet another, and this time it's free to download. Titled "Our Love Comes Back", the song is available over at Amazon. Be warned, though, it is a live version, so what we hear on the final album could be different. Nonetheless, it's hauntingly beautiful and worth the price of a click.
Check out fan footage of Blake performing "Our Love Comes Back" last month below.
Overgrown releases on April 8th via Republic.
[Watch] Vampire Weekend Debut New Material at SXSW

Modern Vampires of the City, Vampire Weekend's third album, is out on May 7th.
