[Listen] JAWS - "Friend Like You"

We've shared several songs from JAWS at the back end of last year and they seem to have matured a bit in their sound 3 months on as they return with a track titled "Friend Like You". Their laid back sound is perfect afternoon listening as you wind down from whatever you've been doing (or not doing) in the office today.

The track is set to feature on their newly announced EP, Milkshake that's set to be released on the 22nd of April digitally and on 12" vinyl. Nice. It'll feature the previously heard "Surround You", "Stay In" and the this track along with some new stuff. Check out the track listing below the new song below.

Milkshake EP Tracklist
1. Breeze
2. Donut
3. Toucan Surf
4. Friend Like You

[Watch] Glowbug - "Go Easy" (Official Video)

Premiered by the folks over at CoS yesterday, Glowbug's video for his track "Go Easy" is a bright, fit inducing party of high energy and good times that I'm damn jealous I wasn't a part of. Yo, Daniel, hit me up next time yeah?! The video sits alongside the track oh so well though and helps give it an extra kick up the derriere, not that it needed it. Flashing lights litter the room and by the end they're covered in sweat and the memories of fun. Check it out at the top.

The track is taken from his forthcoming LP but if you're liking what you hear, you can download the song for free over on Bandcamp.

[Listen] MUST - "Just Wait"

We've mentioned MUST previously via their summer filled surf-pop track "The Devil Lives" and today they return with an energetic track titled "Just Wait". For a band who were only conceived in the summer of 2012 they're making some great sounding music. The song will appear on their 3-song EP that's due out on the 1st of April via Heart Throb Records.

You can check out another track of theirs called "Graceland" over here.

[News] Miike Snow frontman Andrew Wyatt Announces Solo Album, Streams Lead Single "And Septimus…"

As the frontman for Miike Snow, Andrew Wyatt is normally accompanied by production duo Bloodhsy & Avant. After extensive worldwide festival and tour circuits backing up Happy To You, it seems Wyatt would like some time to himself.

On April 16th, Wyatt will release his debut solo album, Descender. The album, according to Rolling Stone, will see the vocalist making use of a 75-piece philharmonic orchestra, as well as guest appearances from The Libertines’ Anthony Rossomando and former Interpol bassist Brad Truax.

For a sense of what to expect from Wyatt's solo affair, he's streaming the first single, a charming, regal cut titled "And Septimus...". Stream it below.

[Watch] The 1975 - "Chocolate" (Official Video)

Yesterday, while on my way down to London to do the Review Show with Matt Healy of The 1975, his band released the super stylish black and white video for their insanely catchy track "Chocolate". The video features driving around the streets in a stylish retro Ford, and Matt looking moody smoking some cigarettes and getting sensual with a rather pretty lady. The lady in question has been with Matt on both occasions I've met him this past week and it's his lovely misses. So that adds an extra angle to the relationship they have in the video too in my eyes.

The track features on their new EP Music For Cars which is released on March 4th. They'll release a full length later in the year. Keep your eyes peeled on SKoA later in the week for the full interview I had with Matt prior to their sell out Manchester date last weekend.

[Listen] Phoenix - "Entertainment"

As promised, Phoenix premiered a brand new track on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show today. Titled "Entertainment", the song is the first material we've heard from the band's new album Bankrupt!, and Phoenix fans will be pleased.

Building on what they put forth with Woflgang Amadeus Phoenix, "Entertainment" is an energetic, upbeat cut with an anthemic chorus and synth flourishes. Vocalist Thomas Mars seems to be belting out in a similar fashion to the last album, but the instrumentation is where the song really stands out. Stream it below.

Bankrupt! is out on April 23rd through Glassnote Records.
