[Watch] Fall Out Boy - "The Phoenix" (Official Video)
At the start of February Fall Out Boy returned from the depths of a hiatus out of nowhere with a new track titled, "My Soungs Know What You Did In The Dark". They've now unveiled another video along with a new track called "The Phoenix". It's fair to say their sound has changed dramatically over the years and the modern music tastes of the masses are trying to be pleased with the new record, Save Rock & Roll. Calling an album that straight away makes me kind of not want to listen to it. Yet the 15 year old pop-punk loving kid in me still trying to break free and I'll no doubt give it a try. How do you feel about their comeback and new songs? Catchy as hell, I'll give 'em that.
Save Rock & Roll is due out April 16th.

[Listen] Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. - "If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t on the Dancefloor)"

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. made an impressive debut with 2011's It's A Corporate World, spending the near-two years since touring in support of the album. But the Detroit duo is back, tucked away in the studio working on their sophomore LP. Before that, though, they'll dish out a four-track EP titled Patterns.
For an initial taste of what Daniel Zott and Joshua Epstein have been up to, they're streaming the opening track from the EP, the lengthy titled "If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t on the Dancefloor)". It's an inviting tune, greeting you with twangy guitar melodies. This doesn't last long though, and shortly after the erupts in glittering synthesizers and echoing harmonies. I'm sold. Hell, I've been sold since these two started making music together. Check it out below.
Patterns EP is out digitally on April 16th, followed by a Record Store Day vinyl release on April 20th.
Patterns EP Tracklist:
01. If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t on the Dancefloor)
02. Dark Water
03. Hiding
04. Habits
[News] Queens of the Stone Age detail new album: '…Like Clockwork'
Unless you spent your weekend under a rock, you'll of seen the internet blow up when our friends over at Antiquiet broke the news of the new Queens of the Stone Age album along with some tantilising snippets of some tracks. The album is titled …Like Clockwork is due out in June via the band’s new label, Matador Records. exciting.
Regarding the release, the ginger giant known as Josh Homme has said it's an "audio documentary of a manic year." I for one cannot wait to hear some full tracks. On the release we can expect guest spots from Dave Grohl on skins, Alex Turner, Trent Reznor, Sir elton John, Joey Castillo, Nick Oliveri, Mark Lanegan, Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, Jon Theodore and James Lavelle of UNKLE.
The album itself was produced by the big man Homme and recorded at Pink Duck Studios. So, get excited. I know I've had a perma-boner since Friday due to the excitement. I should probably go and see a doctor about it.
