[Watch] The Flaming Lips - "Look...The Sun Is Rising" Live on Letterman
Last night if you follow us here at SKoA closely, you may have been aware that Kibbe was at the Ed Sullivan Theater helping Wayne Coyne with his Reddit AMA prior to the band hitting up Letterman. You can check out the interesting AMA over here if you missed it. Chances are if you missed that, you may have also missed their performance on Late Show with David Letterman so why not hit play on the video above to see Wayne and co perform "Look... The Sun Is Rising" which is taken from their forthcoming album The Terror. It comes complete with Wayne cradling a toy baby throughout the performance... yeah. Standard Flaming Lips, really.
That's not all the Flaming Lips goodness this week. Some of you may remember Coyne and co. teamed up with Bon Iver on a track for last year's The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends. The collaboration, titled "Ashes In The Air", now has a video and it's as weird as you would expect. Check it out below.
[Watch] Phoenix - "Entertainment" (Homemade Performance Video)
Phoenix may have already let loose the official video for "Entertainment" but they must of been feeling generous as today they've offered up a live performance homemade clip as well. Isn't that nice? Seen above, it shows the band sat in front of a green screen blasting out a nice acoustic performance of the track which for me has been a true grower. When I first heard it in February I was not feeling it at all. Fast forward to April and I love it. Time heals all I guess.
If you enjoy the video, including a cameo from a dog, maybe you'd like to pick up their forthcoming album Bankrupt! which comes out on April 23rd?
[Listen] James Blake - "Take a Fall For Me" Feat. RZA x "Every Day I Ran"
Just yesterday we got to enjoy the animated video from James Blake for the track "Voyeur", which helped to build some more anticipation ahead of his new album Overgrown dropping next week on the 8th of April. Today the man himself takes to Tumblr to let loose not one but two brand new cuts from the record. Below you can stream "Take a Fall For Me" which features the lyrical finesse of RZA, a stand out for me personally when first hearing the album. Secondly there's the Big Boi sampling "Every Day I Ran". See what you make of the new tracks, and let us know if you think the second long player from Blake is going to live up to his stunning debut.

[Listen] The Dillinger Escape Plan - 'One Of Us Is The Killer' (Album Sampler)
I'll be honest, I'm not usually into album samplers. I'm also not usually as excited to hear a new album as I am for The Dillinger Escape Plan's follow up to 2010's Option Paralysis though. Titled One Of Us The Killer, it's set for release on the 14th of May via the band's own Party Smasher Inc., in partnership with Sumerian Records. So I thought you guys might be just as interested to hear what the band have in store for us. We've already got to hear the face shredding "Prancer" in full and now you can sample all 11 tracks from the album in a 6 minute and 26 second beast of a YouTube video above.
Mark your calendars and prepare your eardrums guys. This sounds like one hell of a good record.
[Watch] Findlay - "Off & On" (Official Video)
We've mentioned Findlay a few times here on SKoA. And by a few, I literally mean twice. She comes from the city I live (Manchester) and makes damn good blues infused, energetic, foot stomping tunes that make you want to get up and have a dance along to. It grabbed my attention immediately when I heard it in the back half of 2012 and I've eagerly awaited more songs arriving in the mail.
Today was that day and a new track titled "Off & On" can now be enjoyed following up last year's tasters. It's set to appear on a brand new EP released later this month on the 29th via Manchester label Joyeux Anniversaire. Along with that, you can check out some live dates after the jump. Treat yourself. We'll be keeping a very close eye on Findlay in the coming month(s).

[Watch] James Blake - "Voyeur" (Official Video)
James Blake is preparing to release his stunning second album Overgrown next week on the 8th of April via Atlas and to get us all a little more hyped, he's released the video accompaniment for "Voyeur". The video is actually an animated clip created by Ferry Gouw and you can watch it above along with taking in all the cowbell goodness of the track. They do always say: "more cowbell", but how much is too much? Judge for yourselves as the tension builds throughout the track in a way James seems to have mastered so, so well.
Be sure to pick up a copy of the album when it drops next week. It's a good'un and it's also a growth from the young artist.
[Watch] Queens of the Stone Age - "My God is the Sun" (New Song Debuted at Lollapalooza Brazil)
They say today is a celebration for the resurrection of Jesus Christ after he was crucified. That's one belief. I can respect that. Others may celebrate the fact they'll get given a crap tonne of egg shaped chocolate from numerous family members and friends, or maybe even from some fictitious fluffy rabbit. If you're into that kind of thing, I can respect that too.
I however will be celebrating the return of Queens of the Stone Age, who have debuted brand new material at Lollapalooza Brazil. Hell yeah. Titled "My God is the Sun", it sees Josh Homme and co also introduce Jon Theodore from The Mars Volta & One Day As A Lion behind the drum kit. It's got to be said that Jon does have some pretty big shoes to fill but he absolutely owns it here. The track itself has soaring choruses and all kinds of time signature trickery. It's perfect Easter Sunday listening and it won't damage your waistline unlike all that chocolate you no doubt have staring at you from across the room right now.
The track is likely to appear on the newly announced follow up to Era Vulgaris from the band, ...Like Clockwork. It's due out in June via the band's new label Matador Records. Hat tip to the guys who are always one step ahead with the QOTSA news and goodies, of course I'm talking about Antiquiet.
[Listen] Stream Yeah Yeah Yeahs New Cut "Under the Earth"

The New York Times digs into the history of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in a newly published editorial, but what's more the editorial included a premiere of a brand new track from the New York outfit. Titled "Under the Earth", the cut steps away from the gospel rock of "Sacrilege" and moves into slippery funk basslines and spacey synthesizers. It's a grimy track fit for a night on the town. Stream it here.
Mosquito, the band's fourth studio LP, is out on April 16th. Check out the tracklisting below.
