[Album Stream] The Dillinger Escape Plan - 'One Of Us Is The Killer'
I've been super hyped to hear the new album from The Dillinger Escape Plan and this week my itch got well and truly scratched. The band have offered up One Of Us Is The Killer in its entirety via Pitchfork, so what are you waiting for? Go listen! The album delivers every aspect we've come to expect from the band. Intricate layers of intensely precise guitar hooks, ear belting vocals, along with bass lines and drum beats to shake your soul. They all come together and intertwine perfectly to deliver a well rounded and undeniably powerful package that will keep you coming back for more. It's been worth the wait.
It dropped today (May 14th) via band's own Party Smasher Inc., in partnership with Sumerian Records so if you want to pick up a copy head over to iTunes. Support these guys. Also if you ever get the chance to see them live, do it! Your eyes will be opened to a whole new world of possibilities.
[Listen] Fun Adults - "Peek and Punch"
I introduced you to Fun Adults last October via their track "Acacia" followed up "Sap Solid". Today they've offered up "Peek and Punch", a laid back joint that reminds me of Radiohead in places? It could just be my mind playing tricks on me but I like it a lot. Check it out below to see if you agree with me.
Handsome Dad Records will release "Peek and Punch" on the 27th May.

[Album Stream] The National - 'Trouble Will Find Me'
Last week we got to see The National's video for "Sea of Love" in which they paid homage to one of their "favorite punk rock videos". As is the norm these days you can stream it in its entirety prior to that via their band page on iTunes. With their previous effort High Violet getting so much love I'm guessing a lot of people are excited to hear the self produced effort featuring guest spots from Sufjan Stevens, Annie Clark, and Sharon Van Etten to name a few.

[Listen] The Dillinger Escape Plan - "Nothing's Funny"
After already previewing "Prancer" and "When I Lost My Bet" from their new album, One Of Us Is The Killer, The Dillinger Escape Plan have premiered another cut from the energetic sounding LP. A little more down tempo and melodic than the previous few previews, "Nothing's Funny" is every bit of Dillinger filled as you'd expect. Crazy riffs, punishing drums, bass to shake the contents of your apartment loose and wide ranging vocals from Greg. It's damn good.
One Of Us The Killer is set for release in 14th of May via the band's own Party Smasher Inc., in partnership with Sumerian Records.
[Watch] The National - "Sea of Love" (Official Video)

Now in preparation for that and to get us all a little excited for the release, they've released the video for "Sea of Love". It see them performing in a tiny room with the help of a little dude on air guitar. It's fun to watch and pays homage "to one of our favorite punk rock videos" as they call it; Zvuki Mu and their track "Grubiy Zakat". You can watch their version below. It's pretty much a spot on replica from The National.
