[Watch] The Mars Volta - "The Malkin Jewel" (Official Video)
When you make a music video these days people go down one of a few routes. Shock and awe, comical, going down the animated road also seems a popular choice as of late, but when a band such as The Mars Volta make not just a video, but a 15-minute monster for "The Malkin Jewel" they keep it elegantly simple. The video focuses on the band performing live which in itself is a spectacle large enough to grasp your attention for the full 15 minute. Kudos to them for doing it this way and being such a great performing band. (via SPIN.com).

[Watch] Mark Ronson & Katy B - "Anywhere In The World" (Video)
Coca Cola, the official sponsor of the upcoming Olympics in London, have enlisted the help of Mark Ronson to create a song for the forthcoming event. The creative producer has used unconventional means to create his song, using things such as the heartbeat of Russian runner Kseniya Olegovna Vdovina and the punches of Taekwondo athlete Maria del Rosario Espinoza to emulate certain aspects of his anthemic track. Katy B also joins in as the vocalist on the track, making the already epic song much more grandiose. As well, if you are interested in seeing exactly how Ronson created each aspect of the single, including the use of athletes, head over to Coca Cola's website to see the "Making Of" video.
