[Download] Flying Lotus' 'Lovers Melt Pt. III' Mix
It seems like Flying Lotus' creativity and drive never stops, with a new LP dropping this October and a recent collaboration with Earl Sweatshirt (which is easily one of my favorite tracks this summer). Seriously, FlyLo is a gift that just keeps giving, and today he dropped a brand new DJ mix to tide everyone over for the summer. The third installment in his Lovers Melt series, the mix is a sexy, mind-warping amalgamation of instrumentals and samples, perfect for these warm summer days. Download it for free over at the official Brainfeeder website.

Arabia Mountain, the latest album from Black Lips is out now and today we can enjoy the video for new single, "Noc-A-Homa". It follows the downfall of the once celebrated mascot of the Atlanta Braves as he slums it on the streets and turns to crime in order to get by. [News] Aphex Twin to Reissue '…I Care Because You Do' and 'Richard D. James Album' on Vinyl
Electronic legend Richard D. James, better known by his most famous of aliases Aphex Twin, will get another one of his amazing works reissued by 1972 Records, who reissued his album Selected Ambient Works Volume II on vinyl earlier this year. On September 18th, two of Aphex Twin's best works (also with the creepiest album covers), 1995's ...I Care Because You Do and 1996's Richard D. James Album, will be reissued on vinyl for the first time in over ten years.
According to Exclaim, the Richard D. James Album reissue will only come as a single LP, meaning it most likely won't have the bonus tracks included in the original North American and Australian releases. Although, given the length of ...I Care Because You Do, it will most certainly be a double LP. Now would be a good time to mark September 18th on your calendars.
[News] Crystal Castles Announce New Album for September, Fall Tour Dates
Crystal Castles very recently dropped a brand new track titled "Plague", and now they have unveiled some important details about the album it'll appear on. The duo's third studio LP, which is currently untitled, will be released in late September via Universal Republic/Casablanca, according to NME. The album was reportedly recorded and self-produced by the duo in Warsaw, and is now being mixed and mastered in London.
When speaking to NME, Ethan Kath stated that the new album will sound very much like their past work: "There's no departure. We like how we sound. We don't wanna change." Alice Glass went further to say, "There’s lots of themes, but feeling, like, oppressed… A lot of things not personally happening to us, since the past record, but people we know kind of profoundly influenced everything. Like, I didn’t think I could lose faith in humanity any more than I already had, but after witnessing some things, it just… the world is a dystopia. I’m on step away from being a vigilante. I’ve thought about it."
On top of the reveal, Crystal Castles have announced a tour for this fall with HEALTH, which starts at the end of September and goes through till early November. Check out the full tour schedule after the jump.
