[Watch] Grimes - "Genesis" Live on Fallon
Last night the wonderful Claire Boucher, AKA Grimes, was on the late night American TV circuit. I was surprised to find out it was actually her debut on the TV Stateside considering we've already seen her on Jools Holland earlier in the year but hey, we'll take what we can get from her. She visited Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform a track from her album Visions in the shape of "Genesis". Give it a watch at the top of the page.
[Watch] Gallows - "Outsider Art"
Last night Gallows premiered a brand new tack titled "Outsider Art" on Zane Lowe's Radio One Show. This morning the band have let loose a video to accompany the track. It's set to feature on their forthcoming self titled album which will be released on September the 10th. In turn, the band will play a record release show at the Fighting Cocks, Kingston on September 9th. It costs just £10 and goes on sale today (15th August).
You can pre-order Gallows over here.
[Listen] Bad Books - "Forest Whitaker"
Bad Books, the project between Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine is set to return later this year with a new album, Bad Books II. We were very fond of the projects first release so it'll be interesting to see where this second album leads. Andy has said of the project that it's his "therapeutic outlet". This track starts a little left field and features a whistle melody, electronic video game like guitars and a big fat electric drum beat. See what you make of it after the jump courtesy of Rolling Stone.
Bad Books II is set for release on October the 9th.

[Watch] Breton's Entire Set From La Route du Rock
Now here's something that doesn't happen on a daily basis. London-based band (and my personal favorite of the year) Breton had the privilege of performing in a castle over the weekend at France's 22nd annual La Route du Rock festival in the seaside city of St. Malo. The fine folks over at Arte.tv were amazing enough to record their entire set for those of us who couldn't travel the thousands of miles away to experience it for ourselves.
I'm not gonna lie, it's hard not to have a proud rock mama grin while watching this. To think at one point my brain considered them headlining the Bowery Ballroom to be a beautiful moment for them. This certainly knocks that right out of the water. Not that you still shouldn't go to their Bowery Ballroom show next month, because you totally should, if not merely for the sake of watching me make a complete fool out of myself dancing around.
Don't live in NYC? Make sure you catch them as they tour around Europe before pass through North America for a few weeks.
Also, make sure you pick up their debut album Other People's Problems if you haven't already.

Check out the second single from the forthcoming Green Day LP ¡Uno!. (One of 3 albums they plan to release in the next 6 months!) Titled "Kill The DJ" you can stream it now over at 107.7 The End. It's a bit of a dancey number and not what I expected from Billy Joe and co.
¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! will be released by Reprise Records on the 25th of September, 13th of November, and the 14th of January, respectively.
[Watch] Japandroids - "The House That Heaven Built" (Official Video)
Japandroids have just dropped their first video and they've picked a great track to do it for, "The House That Heaven Built" is a soaring arena rock anthem that will have you punchign the air in excitement. The video manages to put across the energy the duo put into their live sets with it perfectly framing them in this monochrome clip performing and partying. Check it out at the top and be sure to pick up their album Celebration Rock which is out now.

[Watch] Kanye West - "I Wish You Would" x "Cold" (Official Video)
Hype Williams has combined the DJ Khaled and Kanye Westcollaborations of late "I Wish You Would" and "Cold" into one easily digestible visual which features Ye's new obsession, Kim Kardashian and a guest spot from one of the three kings, Rick Ross. It's a shakey ride of a video but a nice surprise on a Tuesday morning via CoS.
