[Watch] LULS - "Sympathy Or Love"
Check out the video for the B-Side to LULS' track "Never Let It Go" which we introduced you to back in January. The single was released yesterday and to celebrate you can enjoy the video for "Sympathy Or Love", a soaring track with choruses fit for the festival circuit and verses that'll make you question your loves and losses. Seriously into this band right now and if this is the sound of what's to come I really can't wait to hear more. Big sounds!
[Watch] D-E-W-L - "Nobody Make A Sound" (Official Video) & Wave Machines Remix
The duo D-E-W-L unleashed their track "Nobody Make A Sound" earlier in the year but I completely forgot to throw it up. It's dark, unsettling and the video accompaniment is just as twisted. It features a narrative of two deaf girls sneaking out and meeting a suspicious looking older man in a car. It's a little unnerving but it sits perfectly alongside the D-E-W-L track. Watch the video at the top.
As well as that though you can check out a remix from Liverpool's Wave Machines who turn the first part of the track into an equally eerie spacious number but as it progresses it turns into a little more of a dance worthy number, albeit a number you'd find yourself dancing to at 5am at WHP but still, it's a little more uptempo drum filledwith it's pad beats. The air of strange is still fully intact from the original though. Check that out below.
[Listen] The Dillinger Escape Plan - "Prancer"
The Dillinger Escape Plan are preparing to release the beast known as the follow up to 2010's Option Paralysis in the shape of a new record titled One Of Us Is The Killer in May. Late yesterday the band premiered a brand new track from the LP titled "Prancer" and it's every bit of DEP we've come to expect. Organised chaos that will full on wake you the eff up on a slow Tuesday morning. Seriously, turn this up loud and shake off the cobwebs a little while losing yourself a little bit. This was the last thing I heard before falling to sleep last night, and it's the first thing I've hit play on today. See if you find it as moreish as me.
One Of Us Is The Killer is set to be released through the band's own Party Smasher Inc., in partnership with Sumerian Records on May 14th.
[Watch] Check Out Earl Sweatshirt's Video for "Whoa", Featuring and Directed by Tyler, The Creator
Earl Sweatshirt goes back to the old Odd Future vibes in his video for "Whoa", a new track from his upcoming album Doris. Directed by and featuring Tyler, The Creator, the clip sees the OF crew skateboarding, causing trouble and just being the shitheads we came to know them as. Check it out above and grab a digital copy of "Whoa" on iTunes.
[News] Empire of the Sun Announce Sophomore LP with Extravagant Trailer
Despite being only three months in, this year has already proven immensely memorable. Numerous bands and artists have made comebacks, emerged from the shadows of hiatus, or made plans for long-awaited follow-ups to great albums. Daft Punk is enough to have me hard (sorry for any unwanted visuals).
Empire of the Sun are the latest band to mark their return in 2013. The Australian duo have long been absent, vanishing not long after supporting their 2008 debut album Walking on a Dream. But, Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore are back, and they've brought exciting news with them. Their sophomore album, officially titled Ice on the Dune, will be released this June, and to make the announcement more cinematic the pair unveiled a grandiose album trailer. Watch the trailer above, and below you can read the band's fantastical description of the album's concept:
Once, the world was pure. It was the Emperor and the Prophet who kept it thus. Each day, they charted the sun’s course across the sky, guided rivers down from mountain peaks, brought rains to quench raging fires.
With the aid of their four priests, who possessed spirits of wild animals, they travelled the world tirelessly, maintaining nature’s delicate balance, allowing all things to grow and flourish — always with the aid of the sacred jewel held atop the Emperor’s crown…
But one night, as the Emperor slumbered, recovering from his labours, true darkness appeared. The King of Shadows, ever the bitter foe of the Empire, and all it had achieved, crept into their temple. Craving the Emperor’s power, he stole the jewel from his crown– and in an instant the world was changed.
Robbed of the bulk of his power, the Emperor and the Prophet watched helplessly as their temple was torn asunder, and their priests cast far out into the world.
But even in that moment, when all appeared lost, there was one thing that the King of Shadows black heart simply could not have imagined… The Emperor and the Prophet have never abandoned hope."

[Watch] Wavves - "Demon To Lean On" (Official Video)
Wavves imagine a world where kids live in a junkyard, donning Mad Max-esque clothing, eating meat and wrestling for fun. Led by frontman Nathan Williams, these kids come across a wandering boy who appeared in the junkyard after he was unknowingly towed there in his father's car. If it teaches us anything, it's that a) drivers shouldn't park in tow zones, and b) parents shouldn't leave their kids in illegally parked cars. Let this serve as a warning to everyone out there.
Afraid of Heights, Wavves' new album, drops on March 26th on Mom + Pop Records.
[Listen] Four Tet Streams New Track, Remixes Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie"

Four Tet made damn good use of this day, waking everyone up from their case o' the Mondays with a bangin' new track titled "For These Times" and a slick twitchy remix of Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie".
First up, "For These Times" was recorded for Nonplus' Think And Change compilation, and it's incredibly good. From start to finish, this five-minute cut vibrates with jazzy undertones and rattling snares, grabbing you by the collar and never loosening its grip. Tet's remix of JT's slick single is equally as fantastic, as he highlights Timberlake's saccharine voice while tossing the rest aside. Underneath the vocal sample lies a complex twitchy house beat, with repetition and building being the name of the game; with each progressing minute Justin's singing is met with ever-expanding production. Stream both below.
