The first weekend of Coachella flew by, and there were lots of memorable moments. Hell, R. Kelly joined Phoenix onstage in a surprise moment of the festival. Given the nature of the festival, with its well-established live streaming and eager fans with cameras in hand, it wasn't long before a decent amount of videos hit the web. After the jump, you can check out a whole swath of these uploaded videos, including full sets from The xx, Earl Sweatshirt, Blur and Vampire Weekend along with shorter clips from so many more. The joys of technology.

[Listen] Gold Panda Announces New Album, Streams Lead Single "Brazil"

Gold Panda wowed me back in 2010 when he released his debut album Lucky Shiner. He wowed me again earlier this year with the Trust EP. I'm ready to be wowed again. Gold Panda will release his sophomore album Half of Where You Live on June 11th, and "Brazil" is our first taste.
The LP takes inspiration from experiences in Sao Paulo and London as well as Takashi Miike films. As for "Brazil," it's pretty impressive. Enticing, exotic instrumentation loops around the repeating words "Brazil," with the synthesized sounds building and fading effortlessly. I'm down for this. Check it out below.
[Watch] Daft Punk Focus on Pharrell in the Latest Collaborators Video

Daft Punk is quickly getting us familiar with the collaborators we will hear on the hotly anticipated Random Accesss Memories. We've already seen videos featuring Giorgio Moroder, Todd Edwards and Nile Rodgers, and now it's Pharrell's turn.
Providing vocals for "Get Lucky," Pharrell speaks on his time with the robot duo. He had drug-fueled holistic experiences and had deep connections to the collaboration and the music that came from it: "getting lucky is not just sleeping with her, but meeting someone for the first time and it just clicking. There’s no better fortune in this existence to me."
This music is "beyond 3D. It's 4D. It's in your mind." Check out Pharrell's edition of "The Collaborators" video series below.
[Listen] Daft Punk feat. Pharrell and Nile Rodgers - "Get Lucky"

UPDATE: The stream has been removed by SME, and it has been reported that Fun Radio's "exclusive stream" was in fact a sampled edit of the SNL ad for the song. Seems I got caught up in the ecitement. Sorry about that. Hopefully some legitimate Daft Punk tunes will surface soon, and we'll post it when it does.
Random Access Memories is out on May 21st.
[Listen] Check Out Empire of the Sun's New Single "Alive"

It's been a long awaited return for Empire of the Sun, but the eccentric Australian duo are back with a fresh outlook and a new album, Ice on the Dune. Before the album drops in June, though, we'll have to make do with their anthemic lead single "Alive." The song pulsates with lively synthesizers and echoing otherworldly vocals, enchanting with a harmonious chorus. The song is perfectly titled. Stream it below.
[Watch] Phoenix Joined By R. Kelly During Coachella Performance

It was rumored that Phoenix would be joined onstage by Daft Punk during their Coachella performance, but you might be surprised by who showed up: R. Kelly. The French rock outfit and the King of R&B dished out awesome mashups of "1901" with "Ignition (Remix)" and "Chloroform" with "I'm a Flirt." Watch fan footage of the collaboration below.
[Download] Jai Paul's Self-Titled Debut Album

So it's Sunday. Nothing is going on. Jai Paul just decided to drop his self-titled debut album. Where the hell did that come from? As a huge fan of Jai Paul (his songs "BTSTU" and "Jasmine" are fantastic) I was pretty ecstatic when news hit that he released his album through Bandcamp (it was supposed to be released through XL Recordings). All sixteen songs on the album are truly awesome. Just do yourself and get it, right now. It's ₤7 ($10.74) but it is worth it. Grab it here.
Of note, we can't be sure this is his actual debut album, as XL Recordings hasn't released any statement and there was no promotion for it. On the other hand, it could just be Jai Paul going around the label. For now, it's all speculation but who really cares when we've got sixteen tracks worth of Jai Paul goodness.
UPDATE: Jai Paul took to Twitter to state that the album released on Bandcamp yesterday was not uploaded by him and is an illegal leak. The cause of the leak? Apparently Jai had his laptop stolen. Here's what he had to say:
To confirm: demos on bandcamp were not uploaded by me, this is not my debut album. Please don't buy. Statement to follow later. Thanks, Jai
— Jai Paul (@jai_paul) April 15, 2013
The leaked album has since been removed from Bandcamp.
