[Watch] ScHoolboy Q - "Collard Greens" Feat. Kendrick Lamar (Official Video)
It's Friday so why not watch a video for Schoolboy Q's Kendrick Lamar featuring track "Collard Greens" which sees the pair as floating heads. Remember that scene with P-Diddy in Get Him To The Greek? It's pretty much that. Maybe a Jeffrey was involved too? Who knows. Just another day at the office for these guys really as the rest of the video features scantily clad (NEKKID) ladies in a party-centric environment.

[Watch] The Holidays - "Voices Drifting" (Official Video)
Videos are a great way to introduce you to a new band. That's a given. Most videos you first see from bands are performance videos and the like. For the lead single from The Holidays' second album, they took a more thought provoking and oxygen lacking route. Simon of the band had the following to say about it:
We shot the clip in an outdoor pool in the middle of winter, as we discovered the pool heater was broken. The idea was that I would perform the song underwater in one breath, but if I couldn't last the duration the concept kinda falls apart - so the pressure was on. I spent weeks practicing by slowing down my heart rate and singing the song with my head in a bucket of water. With the cold it was hard to calm myself, thankfully we had a crew of people warming me between takes and giving me eye drops for the chlorine. We shot about 15 aborted takes and it was getting very frustrating for everybody, in the end I resolved to stay under even if I ran out of breath, you might be able to see this happens at the end of the 2nd verse... it was extremely uncomfortable but I didn't drown, we got one full take and that's the clip!
As you can see from the end of the second verse it's almost as if the life is leaving him. If you've not heard of these guys before, this is the perfect introduction to their sun-tinged sound that will have you longing for Summer to stay around a little longer and the night to wait a little longer before arriving. The video just goes to add another layer of brilliance to them. Check it out.

[Watch] The Family Rain - "Reason To Die"
We've had our eye on The Family Rain for quite some time now and they appear to be going from strength to strength, which is always nice to see. They've had some pretty big shows this year and have just today been announced as support to Thirty Seconds to Mars at the iTunes Festival. Yeah, OK, not everyone likes 30STM but surely a band with a smaller following supporting a huge festival headlining band is always a good thing?!These guys have grafted and they deserve some more fans. Anyway, enough of that, check out the video to their awesome single "Reason To Die" which is available on iTunes now.
