[SONG OF THE DAY] Terrell Hines - "Wu Dirt"
Propaganda yea that’s the new dopamine
Damn I think I like postmodernity
Happy to report that Terrell Hines is keeping busy in quarantine. Which is wonderful, because 2019 was really him putting his best foot forward. He released his debut EP, St. Marks Rd., which saw the track “Get Up” get featured in the 2019 Apple keynote. He also had a lovely on Beck’s Hyperspace, which we know I’m a little biased on, but really I thought it was a nice pairing for what Beck was going for.
Now he’s been gearing up for the release of his forthcoming mixtape, Portal One: The Mixtape, which is out on August 7th courtesy of Capitol. He’s been cranking tracks leading up to the official release, including a Y2K Remix of “Get Up” (in addition to a version of the original featuring a verse from Vince Staples), “St. Marks Rd.”, “Promise”, and most recently, “Wu Dirt”, which also has the accompanying video below. Hines is a hologram after my own heart, with the concepts driving his music being in the postmodern + post-apocalyptic. A sampling of some of my favorite lyrics from, “Wu Dirt”, to show you what I mean:
Some type of way we got caught in a hyperlooper
I portal drifted all the way to the future
I feel like we in a high-speed computer
Unlock myself inside my crazy dreams
Now I’m roaming all through these metallic streams
Propaganda yea that’s the new dopamine
Damn I think I like postmodernity
When he’s not shooting his own music videos courtesy of a green screen, you can find him devouring books on linguistics, synesthesia, or evolutionary psychology in his downtime.
I’m probably gonna have to chase down an interview with him fairly soon. I feel like we could spend at least 15 minutes talking about algorithms.
diSKOAver weekly: Week of July 8, 2020
Here are 16 different ways I love you extra this week. 💖
OH SHIT LOOK WHO’S LOOKIN’ SNAZZZAAYYYYYYY. Yeah last week during my week of media deprivation I decided to pretty up some things around this web log. You like? 🥰
Also I found
so
much
good
goddamn
music. 🙏🏻
We’re back to 16 tracks a week. That whole doubling up thing was really adorably ambitious of me, especially now that I want to post about all of the things again I don’t want to dread doing this playlist because tbh it’s one of my favorite things to do. It is a labor of love, emphasis on the labor, but you know, whatever.
With that, here are the 16 ways I love you the most this week:
Woodes - ”How Long I’d Wait”
Tumbled into Woodes while checking out last year’s Golden Vessel record (more on him in a few). There’s something so captivating about her that I haven’t been able to put my finger on just yet. She’s practically mystical. Is she secretly a nymph? I need answers. Also she’s got a new song dropping on Friday called “Euphoria” and of course I will make sure you hear it when I do.
Arlo Parks - “Eugene”
When I say that Arlo Parks had me SOBBING for days after I found her that is not even remotely an exaggeration. In addition her penning some of the most deeply personal experiences in a way that will knock the wind out of you, there is something so tenderly piercing about her voice that whatever her words don’t do explicitly her voice is like, “hold up I got this imma make you feel EVERYTHING ok ok”. She recently did a really striking cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” that’s worth checking out, but you definitely have to hear “Black Dog” so you can have a good cry, too.
Nelson Kempf - “Hourglass”
So this is one of 3 tracks that are currently out right now from Nelson Kempf’s upcoming debut album Family Dollar (out on July 24). Apparently Kempf used to be more of a folky kinda musician, but after a decade of hardships he went more experimental. The record touches of the overlooked emotional experience that surrounds poverty. You could say it’s kind of a dark record, but I liken it to how sometimes light finds a way to pierce through a really dark room. Yeah, I guess it’s like that.
Tourist x The Range - “Last”
This is a cool little collaboration that’s a reflection on grief. Apparently as they were writing this they each heard the lyric differently. Tourist could hear, “you know you’re lost”, while The Range was hearing, “you know you’re last”. As Tourist notes, “The duality of that truth resonated with me, as both meanings are applicable when someone leaves us. It has struck a more personal chord recently, as recently one of my dearest friends passed away very suddenly.”
Georgia - “Started Out”
Last year I dropped another track from Georgia in this very playlist series and at some point I somehow reminded myself to check back to see if there was an album , finally got around to listening to Seeking Thrills, and y’all…. what a fucking cool record. I feel like this is a real launching point for her, so you should probably get in on this now.
Teenage Bad Girl - “Keep Up With You”
I’m sorry to be doing this to you, but I am absolutely giving you a band that will probably never make another thing again. I just fucking love good French electro way too much to not pass this along. Teenage Bad Girl existed between 2007 and 2011. I’ve spent the most time with their last record, Back Wash. This track (much like the entire album) has split me between elated and enraged because it slaps so fucking hard but like…this is it. Anyway it’s fucking awesome and you deserve to have this in your arsenal, too.
Cora Novoa - “over & done”
While trying to figure out every last detail about Teenage Bad Girl I crossed paths with their labelmate Cora Novoa (both are on Citizen Records). This Barcelona based bad bitch kinda does it all tbh. In addition to obviously being a music composer and a DJ, she also is the founder and creative director of her own label called SEEKING THE VELVET, which is for electronic and experimental pop music. She’s also an Abelton Official Trainer, music curator, etc. etc. She does a lot. She’s creative as fuuuuck. And she makes really fucking cool techno.
Sam I - “wishin’ (feat. bipolar sunshine)”
Here is me nagging you again to go listen to Random Shit From The Internet Era. This record has something for everyone in it. I would not lie to you. Also like, going to take a moment to throw Sam I some more love because like, all the features on this record are great. Hadn’t heard bipolar sunshine before this. Really loving him.
The Kickdrums - “Sunshine Guy”
I’m always a happy kid when Fitts surprises us with new music. Also dude dropping a track with a lyric “all these nights are blurring together” in the middle of quarantine is so goddamn spot on.
Marlana - “The Right”
So I’m just getting caught up to Marlana but don’t stress that means there’s more than enough time for you, too! She’s got an EP dropping on July 24th called At Least I Tried (which is quite excellent I must say). That said, I would be very fucking rude to you if I did not make sure you heard “The Right” before I get you squared away on everything else going on with this EP.
Nick Leng - “LEMONS”
Thanks to The Algorithm™ last week I came to know Nick Leng, who put out a record called LEMONS a couple of months ago. Things I have learned since thoroughly enjoying the South African born now LA-based singer-songwriter: the album is the result of an emotional breakup, the loss of a friend, and his house burning down - basically all at the same time. 😑 LEMONS. You get it now? Not for nothing though, the record put such a pep in my step that it made me teach myself how to make some bomb ass lemonade within a few hours of digesting the record. There’s a metaphor there, somewhere. I’ll let you find out for yourself what I’m saying.
Golden Vessel - “Hesitate (feat. Emerson Leif)”
I am going to do my very best to not turn this web log into a Golden Vessel fan site, but goddamn it was a really fucking good day when I put on last year’s SLOWSHINE last week. Funny enough, this is not on that record. I just like taking advantage of a 2 for 1 special in showing you new stuff. That said, Emerson Leif’s vocal + the magical vibeyness that is Golden Vessel’s production = yes please.
otta - “Near Enough A Woman”
otta has an EP dropping on Friday! (7/10). This track is not on it! Why did I do that? I don’t know. I guess I wanted to start with the basics with her so you could build to bumping Songbook? And this is like, definitely the basics compared to what you’ll hear on Songbook, which swings in a much more experimental direction. She’s expanding her musical palette and honestly with a voice like hers, she can get away with it.
Diplo - “do si do (feat. Blanco Brown)”
Man I don’t know. Sometimes you just gotta go with the hype. This song is really fun even though my thoughts on Diplo are a mixed bag. I’m trying to occasionally participate in mainstream-ish moments. This was what my ears agreed to this week? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Tall Tall Trees - “Deep Feels”
I listened to A Wave Of Golden Things when it came out but hadn’t put it on in a minute. Lotta records are hitting different in quarantine and this one is no exception. I guess the minimal distractions made me notice the little details of this record that I likely missed on the pre-pandemic passthroughs on this album. There’s too many to share in this baby blurb, just trust me. Anyway “Deep Feels” specifically is just a quintessential summer feel good jam IMO.
Stilljill - “Some People”
LA indie psych-pop trio Stilljill recently dropped their debut EP, Waterslides, which celebrates the fluidity of femininity. As they told Ladygunn last week, “Womxn have historically been analogous to water – Sirens, Venus being born from seafoam, water and women as the birth and source of life. Womxn are often conditioned to be fluid or amenable when others won’t in ways that do not always serve us; i.e. compromising needs and desires, shifting ourselves or voices to suit spaces and male egos. Fluidity also means resilience, strength, and adaptability and we find power in that.” Take a second glance at the single artwork for their tracks, specifically the “river”. They are really thoughtful in every last detail of what they’re doing and I really appreciate that.
PS now would be a good time to remind you that you can sign up to get pinged every time I update this playlist, which means a post like this with my liner notes will be sitting in your inbox the literal second I smash that PUBLISH button and drag over the new tracks into the playlist. I am just saying. 😊
[WATCH] Miss Eaves - "Belly Bounce"
“Ever Since I was 13 people have asked me if I am pregnant. This caused me to be extremely ashamed of my body/belly and try everything in my power to eliminate it (HELLO AB ROLLER!) I want to live in a world where everyone feels free—even joyous—expressing themselves genuinely, being truly comfortable in their bodies and minds just exactly as they are today”
photo courtesy of Miss Eaves herself :)
While we’re on the subject of dance filled music videos today…
Y’all, when I say that I love Miss Eaves, I’m talking like, more than just typical artist adoration where I wanna put her in my hoodie pocket and keep her safe. I think at this point I would crawl over hot coals and/or broken glass for a mile if it meant she’d be safe and happy indefinitely. There’s so much to love about this truly one of a kind DIY artist. Her willingness to be vulnerable and commitment to authenticity regardless of whatever life throws her way is something we probably all should be taking hella notes on. Also I appreciate that we both really wanna be good at speaking French but we’re convinced we totally suck at it.
Further cementing her place on my Most Precious People list, last week she dropped a video for a song, “Belly Bounce”, which comes from her upcoming EP How It Is, which drops on July 10th, 2020. The video, which was a collaborative effort that includes videos of fans of all shapes and sizes dancing gleefully along to the track, is her way of responding to years of invasive questions about her body.
“Ever Since I was 13 people have asked me if I am pregnant. This caused me to be extremely ashamed of my body/belly and try everything in my power to eliminate it (HELLO AB ROLLER!). I want to live in a world where everyone feels free—even joyous—expressing themselves genuinely, being truly comfortable in their bodies and minds just exactly as they are today.”
DO YOU SEE WHAT I’M SAYING ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL SHE IS!? 😭 As someone raised in the era of the Calvin Klein models that were referred to as “heroin chic” in their hay day, the idea that there are teens out in the world today that have the opportunity to be exposed to this level of fierce body positivity just warms my heart so much. I feel like we all need to become door to door EAVESangelists.
“Excuse me [sir/ma’am], do you have a moment to hear the good word of Miss Eaves?”
Like seriously.
Especially right now where everyone keeps bringing up that they’re putting on the “dreaded COVID 19” aka 19 pounds of extra lovin’ to carry around, we need to be kinder to ourselves and this is the bop for belly lovin’.
If you need more body positivity bangers so you can further spread the gospel of Miss Eaves and are new to the fandom, be sure to give “Thunder Thighs” a listen from her 2017 album Feminasty while you’re at it. If I’m being honest that song definitely kicked the door wide open for me to the journey to self-acceptance for my wounderous thunderous thighs.
Now go give that woman your money on Bandcamp RIGHT NOW.

[WATCH] Sam I - "Don't Give Up" / Heaven: Short Film Dance Rehearsal BTS
“I was struck by her. She dances with so much feeling. It's all there...right on the surface. She lays it all out in her expression, not hiding anything.”
Sam I and Nevaeh Meraz, lovingly lifted from his Instagram
Not sure why I sat on this video for a few days, but after re-watching it again I’m tryna make sure that the inspiration gets spread around.
Before we get to the nitty gritty about why this video is specifically giving me The Feels™ imma make sure we’re all on the same page. TL;DR - Sam Speigel, whom we have adored thoroughly on this site for his N.A.S.A. projects is clearing the slate on any other AKA of his and will be moving forward releasing music as Sam I.
With that, he’s just released his debut full-length under his aforementioned new moniker titled, Random Shit From The Internet Era. The album is full of features from like…everybody? No but really. We’re talking Freddie Gibbs, Theophilus London, Doja Cat, Anderson .Paak, RZA, Barbie Hatch, etc. etc. As the name would suggest, it’s not exactly a “cohesive album” per say, as it’s more a collection of ideas that have been lingering around for awhile that he decided to finish and shoot out into the world. “I usually love to work conceptually,” notes Spiegel. “Call me old school, but I love making albums that have a theme or concept that carries you through the record.” For me, the magic of this record is knowing that some of these songs were ideas that were over 15 years old. Yes, you read right. That was not a typo. Some of these are 15 years in the making. It really speaks to the equally groundbreaking and timeless nature of Spiegel’s music IMO.
OKAY BUT LET’S GET TO THIS VIDEO BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY NEED THIS.
For his latest single, “Don’t Give Up”, which features Sia, Busta Rhymes & Vic Mensa (I fucking told you everybody is on this goddamn record 😂), Spiegel assembled some lovely behind the scenes footage from his forthcoming short film that he began working on prior to the pandemic. Would you be surprised to hear that COVID derailed his plans to shoot the film back in March? 🙄 yeah didn’t think so. The film is based off the real life experiences of a dancer named Nevaeh Meraz who overcame abuse, depression and suicide attempts to become an acclaimed performer.
As the backstory goes (because I refuse to spoil her part of the story), the way he and Meraz linked up was a byproduct of her tagging him in videos of her dancing to his music on Instagram. Some more random shit from the internet era, if you will. As he shares, “I was struck by her. She dances with so much feeling. It's all there...right on the surface. She lays it all out in her expression, not hiding anything.” Even though some filming restrictions have been lifted he decided to cut together some of the dance rehearsal and interview footage as a kind of behind-the-scenes prequel to the film.
When I say I was covered in goosebumps after hearing her story of how she got into dancing. Y’all…. 🥺 It’s so beautiful the way that a world of pain can produce moments like this. I hope taking four minutes and four seconds to have a glance at this video helps you remember that your life can dramatically change in an instant, so if you’re struggling right now like I feel like we all are (thanks stupid fucking pandemic), don’t give up.
(ps 404 - more random internet shit, I SEE YOU SAM I 🤪😂)
Watch “Don’t Give Up” below. If you want the full message from Spiegel about his decision to work under Sam I, I’ve included that after the video. 😊
A NOTE FROM SAM SPIEGEL, AKA SAM I
With Random Shit from the Internet Era, I’ll be releasing my first album as a solo artist. Like so many things in our world, I’ve gone through a huge transition these past few years, and I feel like I’m embarking on a new life…a new version of myself. I’ve always created music behind a pseudonym. It was fun to be N.A.S.A. because I love space so much. I could explore my passion for the foreign, the mysterious, the unknown, the unity of humanity, all of the things that space signifies to me. With Maximum Hedrum, the only rule in the studio with Derrick and I was to have fun so I expressed my goofy side. I wrote just to make Derrick and myself laugh, I explored my perversions, got psychedelic. But at a certain point I started to feel limited by these projects—like I wasn’t able to express all of the feelings, thoughts, and ideas I have within their concepts—so I started releasing music as myself, Sam Spiegel.
With N.A.S.A.’s “Jihad Love Squad” I started to learn how to work with moving picture and discovered my love for directing, which I continued developing as I embarked on a transitional period. I needed to clear my musical slate and release everything that I’ve had stored up for years; music that I’ve been wanting to release but has never fit within my other projects. It’s been a few years of putting out these random songs, some of which have ended up on Random Shit…
I’m clearing my slate with Random Shit… It is a new beginning for me. My music coming out going forward is not reiterations of old songs modernized, but where I stand now and into the future. It is day one for me in my new life as a grown-ass human and artist, and so I’ll be releasing everything from here on out under my new name, Sam I, both on the audio and the visual side. I hope you all come along on this new adventure with me.
Lots of love and thanks for listening,
Sam I
[LISTEN] Snowing Throw - "The Folly Of Pangloss"
"Voltaire’s Pangloss was blindly optimistic in the face of reality. This track is his folly. It is only the ‘best of all possible worlds’ if we actively endeavor to make it so."
Earlier today Throwing Snow aka Ross Tones has unveiled a new alias, Snowing Throw, for a one off EP called The Follow of Pangloss, which drops on July 15th courtesy of Houndstooth.
Don’t worry, if you’ve re-read the above a few times to make sure you read me right, trust me when I say I have at minimum triple checked to make sure I accurately laid that out for y’all. 😂
It might seem confusing at first, but if you’re familiar with Tones’ catalog at all and what he’s been up to specifically in the last year, it would make sense that a pair of tracks that are, as he put it, “unashamedly built for the summer”, are probably best to be given their own space to roam freely. As he explains, “'I’ve embraced their tongue in cheek nature and I'm releasing them as Snowing Throw." The resulting title track from the EP is pretty spot on from his description. It’s definitely a vibrant and super upbeat summertime vibe. He goes on to explain, "Voltaire’s Pangloss was blindly optimistic in the face of reality. This track is his folly. It is only the ‘best of all possible worlds’ if we actively endeavor to make it so."
ICYMI - last year Throwing Snow released The Death of Pragmatism the day after Brexit, using the tracks as a way to channel his aggression as tension continued to rise around the Brexit debate. Since then he’s also released subsequent remixes from the EP fro the likes of TSHA, Mako, and AceMo.

[SONG OF THE DAY] Brothertiger - "Livin'"
“There’s always underlying pressure to be achieving certain life goals at certain ages. The song is about doing your own thing and not worrying about how other people think you’re living your life.”
Today I’m delighted to share the news that one of Brooklyn’s finest, Brothertiger (born John Jagos), will be releasing another album in this hellscape of a year. The aptly titled Paradise Lost is slated for a September 11th, 2020 release courtesy of Satanic Panic. Following up last month’s Fundamentals Vol 1, an album of lush instrumentals, Paradise Lost, explores the shifting nature of one’s expectations, which given the state of *gestures wildly* everything happening around us right now, this record will be the definitive soundtrack to Redefining Your Post-Pandem Life.
Our first taste of Paradise Lost, “Livin’”, is quick to get to a key element in managing one’s expectations, which is to give yourself permission to revel in the power of your own decision making instead of crumbling under the pressure of external forces. “There’s always underlying pressure to be achieving certain life goals at certain ages,” explains Jagos. “The song is about doing your own thing and not worrying about how other people think you’re living your life.”
Paradise Lost is available for pre-order now. Tell you what, that marbled purple vinyl is lookin’ pretty lovely right about now.

[SONG OF THE DAY] Space Above - "Movements (feat. Boyboy)"
“It’s fascinating how the instinctual reaction is immediate survival mode, but after a little time passes (and in our case, so did the shakes) you then grasp just how little control you have of the situation when it’s literally the earth moving beneath you.”
Last week Los Angeles based electro-pop outfit Space Above released a new track, “Movements”, from his forthcoming EP due later this year. You might know the New Zealand transplant (born Aaron Short) from his time playing keys with The Naked And Famous, but this has been his primary project for the last few years. The track is a collaboration with fellow Los Angeles based Kiwi, Boyboy (born Sam McCarthy), and recounts their shared experiences with earthquakes upon moving to Los Angeles. McCarthy was inspired to lyrically explore the fear, helplessness, and inevitable acceptance one goes through when overwhelmed by forces much greater than our own. The pairing of McCarthy’s lyrics atop a synth laden soundscape that is evocatively akin to the full course of a micro adrenaline rush triggered by something that catches you off guard. Speaking on the track, Short shared, “It’s fascinating how the instinctual reaction is immediate survival mode, but after a little time passes (and in our case, so did the shakes) you then grasp just how little control you have of the situation when it’s literally the earth moving beneath you.”
The accompanying music video was crafted by Anna Chocholi, who takes these themes and presents the song in a world that is dark and jagged in nature, while leading us on a journey that is met with warmth and surrealism.
“Movements” follows EP cuts, “Golden (feat. So Below)”, “Nobody Home (feat. Tom Young)”, and “Stolen Days (feat. Alisa Xayalith)”, which are worth catching yourself up on before the rest of the EP drops.
diSKOAver weekly: Week of June 24, 2020
Hello precious internet cuties! Hope y’all are staying safe. Here’s this week’s update. God there’s some cool shit in this one. I feel like I say that every week but this is also why I also laugh in people’s faces who are like, “Man remember when music was good? There's just nothing cool anymore.” If you hear anyone say that. You tell them to come find me. I’m happy to show them around.
DE’WAYNE - “National Anthem”
If you can’t feel the energy from this track in your veins the second the sounds hit your eardrums I’m not sure what to tell you.
binki - “Heybb!”
Everything binki has released so far is fucking great. My personal favorite is “Wiggle” but this one just fit the vibe I was going for this week.
TOKiMONSTA - “Get Me Some (feat. Drew Love & Dumbfounded)
My favorite cut from TOKiMONSTA’s latest, Oasis Nocturne. It’s just too hot for it’s own good.
Hermitude - “Let It Burn (World’s Gone Mad feat. Haiku Hands)”
Why yes the world has gone mad. (Mental note for me: spend more time with Pollyanarchy. You enjoyed that first spin)
The Knocks - “No Requests (The Knocks VIP Mix)”
I miss DJ booths and people with strong opinions about what the DJ should be playing 😞
TOBACCO - “Hungry Eyes”
We love a fun cover. Also there’s a pre-order for this on beige vinyl if that’s your kinda thing (for the record it’s def my kinda thing).
Blockhead - “The Music Scene”
You know when you fall in love with a song all over again? 10 years later this still hits.
Killer Bee - “Feel 4 U”
We love a local making moves. My brain wanders to far off places with this one. Just me?
Latir - “Wallflower”
Came in loving “Blue Roses”, fell for his new EP Until Forever. This one’s my favorite though.
Medasin - “Get By (feat. Cautious Clay)”
Part of my weekend homework is to spend more time with both Medasin and Cautious Clay. They always seem to be on my radar but somehow don’t make it into my ear holes enough.
OKENYO - “Buckle Up”
OKENYO, on the other hand. God I’ve been having so much fun getting to know her catalog. This one though. Gotta love, “by the way by the way by the way you’re cute as fuck”.
Brendan Maclean - “Easy Love”
All Aussies are perfect. The end. Also while checking in on what else Brendan had going on I noticed he got added to an official Spotify playlist called Search Engine Sex (but is clearly one of those algorithmic editorial playlists because it doesn’t come up for me🙄).
Slow Magic - “Home”
First taste from the upcoming album, it’s the end of the world but it’s ok. Just a little something to curl up with if you’re feeling a little down.
iZNiiK - “paradise”
You gotta check out the EP series from a few years ago that iZNiiK did. There’s some really cool stuff in those.
Berry Juice - “She Got The Moon (feat. Deidre)”
Forever a sucker for nu disco. Seems promising enough. Going to keep my eye on this one.
Sushi + Kash - “Shatter”
Feels kinda Daft Punk lite (and I mean this in the nicest way possible). Looks like dude is starting to really get his footing on his sound. We’ll see how this plays out.
Jarami - “Bahía”
Yes this is from 2018 but don’t worry they have new stuff too. PS guess who also did a track with Cautious Clay? This world gets smaller and smaller every fuckin day man.
Herzeloyde - “Disperse”
Herzeloyde is vibey af. You should check out his newest track too when you like this one.
Vandelux - “Live Forever”
From his Lost In Common EP. The build on this one eases you into the idea of immortality being possible so by the
Crowd Control - “My Special Girl (feat. Slug Father & Vantage)”
Happy house is my favorite house. You will enjoy Housy Love Songs Vol. 2, trust me.
Hervé - “Blow Your Mind”
Bless this man for keeping us dancing in quarantine. Oh how I love him so.
Mtbrd - “Damn Fine Coffee”
This cut from Damn Fine contains my advice to you if you’re choosing to continue to quarantine like me. It’s literally the only way I’ve been able to not lose my fucking mind.
Calica - “Bitch”
You have to check out her TikTok and see her remake loads of cool tracks. Fell for her when she covered BENEE’s “Supalonely”. Also how fun is it to sing, “Cause you’re a bitch and you know it”?
Body Language - “Let’s Try”
These Brooklyn babies are back from their break for some more retro dance vibes. Hope this means there’s more in the pipeline.
FVLCRVM - “Bad Blood”
Other half of this double A-side single officially drops on July 14th, but you can sneak over to Soundcloud and hear “Hate List” now if you want.
La Femme - “Mycose”
I always say there’s a song for everything and in the case of La Femme’s “Mycose” this is a track about….a yeast infection. Took me too long to put this all together. I need to stop blowing off Duolingo if I’m gonna keep falling in love with French artists.
Tim Ayre - “Laxx”
This lil Sydney sweetie tho. Everything of his I’ve put on is just so dreamy. 😍
daste. - “Telephone (What’s Your Name?)”
From their latest EP Same As it Ever Was. Whole EP is so damn SMOOOOOOVE. You will like.
Geowulf - “Lonely”
A cut from last year’s LP My Resignation. I don’t know about you, but quarantine has made me really examine and reprioritize all of my relationships. Here for it.
The Districts - “Cheap Regrets”
I need to play You Know I’m Not Going Anywhere more often. This is by far my favorite off the record.
Deeper - “This Heat”
From their latest, Auto-Pain, that dropped in March. I love that all my brain can think to say about them is they sound very Alphaville/Union Pool. Ugh I miss shows so fuckin much. 😑
Oxymorrons - “Justice”
Did you know: all the proceeds from this track are being donated to community non-profits and projects. Yep! That means all your future obsessive streaming on this one will be for a good cause! Feels good, huh? This is the band’s first drop on 333 Wreckords Crew.
