[Listen] Purity Ring - "Obedear"

Canadian duo Purity Ring are certainly make a quick name for themselves, cropping up on various blogs, social networks, and even landing themselves a spot opening up for Neon Indian on a recent leg of their tour. The duo recently announced that their debut LP would be released on July 24th via 4AD and Last Gang, and now they've announced via their Twitter account that the album will be titled Shrines (the album art is pictured above). Along with this announcement, the duo have also let loose the first track set to appear on the album. The song, titled "Obedear," is, simply put, fantastic, with glitchy chanting and gothic synthesizers pulsating around the vocals of singer Megan James.
