It was little over a month ago that we saw Emeli Sandé make her debut on Later... with Jools Holland but today we get to see her again except she's helping out Professor Green with his recent track, "Read All About It". Check out the performance from the pair at the top and look out for more later in the week when the full show is broadcast in the UK.
We've mentioned Emilé Sande a few times now and with each mention comes more reason to do so again! Today check out the classy follow up to the smash hit "Heaven". The track is a slow builder before hitting up a nice drum beat and picking up the pace before towards an ever soaring end. All in all it's a very nice track and I think come 2012 when she releases her debut she's going to be a big. Check out the track below and seriously watch this space.
On SKoA we've had a few Emeli Sandé related posts but they've been other people covering tracks she's featured on or as we saw just this last Tuesday, someone covering her own tracks. However, on Tuesday evening she was a guest on Jools Holland's Later on BBC and she put in a jaw dropping performance of her track "Heaven". Her debut album Our Version Of Events is set for release in the new year but if you're really eager you can go and pre-order it here.
Another week and another awesome BBC Radio One Live Lounge session for you guys to wrap your ears around. This weeks guest was friend to the Arctic Monkeys and all round nice Liverpudlian, Miles Kane. He stepped into the Live Lounge to put in a performance of his own track, "Come Closer" taken from his great album, Colour of the Trap . After that as you may know, artists are asked to do a cover and we've had some curve balls in the past and this one from Miles was a little unexpected too. He chose to cover Emeli Sandé's track, "Heaven". Listen to a brief interview followed by his own track and then the soulful cover too.

I don't normally go out of my way at work to be listening to the Radio One Live Lounge but today Ed Sheeran was stepping in and having seen numerous great live videos of him I wanted in. First up he performed an extended version of his latest single "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" using his trusty small acoustic guitar and the great loop pedal (guessing from the pics), that is the Boss RC-20. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Next up as you all know, the live lounge can make for some awesome cover tracks and in th epast we've had some hum dingers. Ed opted to cover Emeli Sande's "Heaven" making it his own with some happy feeling guitar upstrokes. Nothing to left field but none the less a great cover.
Now, after his appearance on Radio One Ed jumped over to 1Xtra to have a word with Trevor Nelson and whilst their did a great cover of Frank Ocean's "Swim Good" and boy can Ed swim. Check out all three tracks below. Thanks to House of Coxhead for the upload. BBC took their time getting things online today so apologies if you've been eagerly awaiting these tracks!
