Florida-based Young Circles (formerly Blond Fuzz) are celebrating the announcement of their debut album, Jungle Habits by offering their first single, "2012" as a download at the actual retail price of $FREE.99.
Jungle Habits is a quick follow up to their Bones EP which only dropped back in January of this year.
The band will be playing a couple of shows in NYC at Pianos (July 28th) and Spike Hill (July 27th) so be sure to come out if you're in town.

[SKOA Presents] SXSW 2011 Or Bust!
We are counting down the hours until Shey, Rocko and I hop on our respective planes from our humble homes and hit the hip streets of Austin, TX for SXSW. While we are all n00bz to the pure mayhem and insanity that is SXSW, we think/hope we have appropriately prepped our livers, iCals, eardrums, etc. for the days ahead of us. Although it is hard to tell how our days in Austin will actually pan out, we have carefully combed through every party, panel and showcase and prepared the following agenda in case you care to follow along or even follow us around. Mind you, we all have a few bands here and there that aren't playing a specific party that we'll be checking out as well, but this is a pretty good idea of where to find us.

[$FREE.99] Brookes Brothers - "Solace"
To hold you over until their upcoming single "Beautiful (feat. Robert Owens)" drops on April 4th courtesy of Breakbeat Kaos Records, Brookes Brothers are offering up a free song called "Solace". It's just as dancy as it is catchy. I'm really enjoying the orchestral movements throughout the song. It smoothes over hyperactiveness of the song in the necessary places. Be on the lookout for "Beautiful" in the upcoming month, as it also features a track called "Souvenir", which is also supposed to be quite a jam.
UPDATE: Apparently this is not the finished version of the song. Label asked nicely to take it down and will happily give us the finished version when it's ready.

[$FREE.99] RJD2 - The Glow Remixes EP
RJD2 is a very hard worker, he put out 2 releases last year, hes already got one lined up for release next month and besides the usual loosies and remixes he's giving you beautiful people a free Remix EP of his single "The Glow" from last year's banging record The Colossus. Talk about awesome!
The three-track digital EP is now available as a free download exclusively through Bandcamp and includes “The Glow” original music video. The Glow Remixes features new remixes of “The Glow”, a track from his acclaimed 2010 release, The Colossus. One track comes from Paolo Palazzo, who was selected by fans as the winner of RJD2’s recent remix contest. The Chicago heavyweight DJ duo Flosstradamus also gives the original cut a dancefloor-friendly makeover, while Candy Panther completes the EP with his laid back, mid-tempo club adaptation.
