[News] Diamond Rings Announces European Tour
What a way to round out an already great year for Diamond Rings. After signing to Astralwerks and releasing his debut album, Special Affections, the pop sensation will now be heading out on tour starting in November in support of the ever electro-fantastic Junior Boys.
Diamond Rings will also be releasing a limited edition 7" of "You + Me" that will have his signature danceable interpretation of Teenage Fanclub's "Mellow Doubt" as the b-side. The vinyl will be exclusively available on the tour but you can grab the digital tracks beginning November 15th in Europe and North America.

[News] The 2 Bears Announce Album Release Date, New Single

The 2 Bears, a duo which consists of Raf Daddy and Joe Goddard (of Hot Chip), have announced the release of their debut album Be Strong. The album will be released on January 30th, 2012 via Southern Fried. As well, the first single from the album, titled "Work," will be released on December 12th, and the duo will be performing alongside Jim Stanton and Severino on November 5th at Bunga Bunga.

[News] Kanye West Announces G.O.O.D. Music: The Album

This morning, Kanye West announced some exciting news (depending on whether or not Yeezy is in your good books) on his Twitter account this morning, simply saying: "GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012." It's like G.O.O.D. Fridays, but all at once!
If you were unaware of which artists are on Ye's G.O.O.D. Music label, here are just a few: Kid Cudi, Mos Def, Big Sean, Common, Pusha T, John Legend, Mr. Hudson and Cyhi tha Pryce. Spring 2012 can only come here sooner.
[News] The Roots Announce New Album

Despite a consistently busy schedule, hip hop/soul group The Roots have managed to squeeze in the recording time needed for a brand new studio album. Today, the group announced their thirteenth studio album undun, which will be released on December 6th via Def Jam Records.
According to Roots' drummer ?uestlove, the album chronicles the life of a man named Redford Stephens, who died in 1999. He described the album as "band-oriented with an eye on the moody cinematic." He also said that the album is "the story of a kid who becomes criminal, but he wasn't born criminal. He's not the nouveau exotic primitive bug-eyed gunrunner like Tupac's character Bishop in Juice ... he's actually thoughtful and is neither victim nor hero."

[News] Jay-Z and Kanye West Expand 'Watch the Throne' Tour... Again

Following the release of their collaborative album Watch the Throne, Kanye West and Jay-Z etched out an expansive North American tour to support the album. Unfortunately, though, the 'Watch the Throne' tour has been riddled with issues, including being rescheduled, postponed and expanded, and now the pair have decided to expand it, again. This time around, they've added two nights at Madison Square Garden, as well as extra nights in both Chicago and Los Angeles.

The tour, which is sponsored by Jägermeister, will start near the end of November and take the duo throughout the continent until mid-December.

[News] The Black Keys Streaming Live Show Tonight
Two days ago we got a comedy filled promo video for The Black Keys' new album El Camino and then yesterday we got concrete facts as to when the album will drop along with the first single. Today fans will be treated to a live stream of their show tonight at 4G Factory Live in NYC. Pretty dope huh? The show is a late one and will start at 11 p.m. EST and it will have a pre show DJ set from Questlove! The show is to coincide with T-Mobile and all you have to do to watch it is head on over to the Facebook page tonight. Bring on the blues!
[News] It's Official: Black Keys' 'El Camino' Coming December 6th
Yesterday we reported the awesome news that Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, aka The Black Keys, were to release their follow up to the incredible Brothers LP with El Camino on December 6th. Today more details come regarding the album along with album artwork and a track-listing which can be peeped below. Production duties fell to their buddy Danger Mouse that they've worked with numerous time and the lead single, "Lonely Boy", will be release on October 26th, so in like 2 weeks!
