[Listen] Blood Diamonds feat. Grimes - "Phone Sex"
Vancouver producer and video game designer Mike Tucker is better known by his moniker Blood Diamonds, and the R&B-infused dance pop he creates is captivating in every sense of the word. His first single from his forthcoming debut LP What is titled "Phone Sex" and features another Vancouver talent, Grimes. The song sees her singing amidst a Caribbean-influenced dance soundscape that is hard not to repeated over and over. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that his instumentation is overall better and more suited to Grimes' vocals than her own instrumentals. Give it a listen after the jump.
The Phone Sex EP is out on June 24th.

Today he offers up the pretty comical visual for "The Full Retard" follows follows the crazy life of him and a puppet. I can't tell what animal the puppet is but damn, it likes to party. Once again in the directing chair are Fleur & Manu, and the gifted children are shown being chased by mysterious government types throughout a shimmering city setting.
