[Listen] Flying Lotus feat. Erykah Badu - "See Thru To U"
Flying Lotus has been killing it with his collaborations as of late, delivering one of the best listens of the summer with "Between Dreams". If this summer has proved anything, it's that FlyLo is infinitely expanding his creativty and experimentation. "See Thru To U" is a perfect example of this. The cut features Erykah Badu, and sees the two exploring a sprawling, African-inspired soundscape, rife with rhythmic drumming and simplistic, groovy basslines. If this is what we can expect from the rest of FlyLo's forthcoming LP Until The Quiet Comes, then we've got a definite contender for one of the year's best albums. Stream it below.
Until The Quiet Comes is out on October 2nd via Warp.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse aren't done with 2012 just yet. With an insane amount of tour dates slated for the rest of the year, the famed Canadian musician and his rock compatriates will be releasing yet another album by the end of the year. While speaking with Rolling Stone recently, Young revealed that the album, which will be comprised of entirely new material, will be titled Psychedelic Pill. Coincidentally, the title is the same as a song the group has been performing live in recent weeks. [Watch] Azealia Banks - "Van Vogue" (Official Video)
Azealia Banks has once again teamed up with director Rankin—the two previously worked together on the video for "Liquorice"—delivering a rousing visualization of the Harlem beauty's track "Van Vogue", which was included on Banks' 1991 EP. The video focuses on Banks herself, quickly cutting between various shots of Young Rapunzel and her various outfits and styles. If anything, the video sure as hell shows off Banks' involvement in the fashion industry. Nicola Formichetti has definitely made a muse out of her. Watch the replay above.
In other Azealia Banks news, she recently teamed up with AraabMUZIK on a track called "Succubi", which you can stream below. The song is apparently a beef aimed at Jim Jones, which started over the use of the term "vamp". It's a pretty fucking stupid reason to start beef, but then again the rap world has been known for pointless disses and feuds. Check out the full story over at MTV.
