Unknown Mortal Orchestra had quickly proven with their 2011 self-titled debut that they had a kick ass sound, and a carefree, experimental attitude. Having listened to their upcoming sophomore album II front to back a few times now, I can honestly say that they've gone above and beyond what they achieved with their debut. Every song on the album entices in the oddest ways, roping you in with unique instrumental styles and charming chemistry. We're only three weeks into January, and already UMO has set the bar high.
