[Listen] Lykke Li - "Silver Springs" (Fleetwood Mac Cover)

There's been numerous Fleetwood Mac covers hitting the net in recent weeks. The reason for this is a compilation title Just Tell Me That You Want Me: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac which is set for release on the 14th of Augusto via Hear Music/Concord. Numerous top rated artists appear as you can see from the artwork above. However this sensitive cover from Lykke Li made my ears perk up especially high upon hearing it. She tackles "Silver Springs" and the results are simply gorgeous. Late to the party much? But hey, who cares when the track is this great.

[Listen] Lykke Li - "Come On"

Record Store Day may have been and gone but tidbits keep appearing online and today is no different, down below you can stream Lykke Li's contribution to the the INGRID Volym 1 compilation, which was released by the record label of the same name. [News] Miike Snow, Lykke Li Form New Collective/Label: 'Ingrid'

Swedish artist Miike Snow and Lykke Li, along with Peter Bjorn & John and The Teddybears, have come together to create a new collective/record label named Ingrid. As the promotional video for the label states, the collective was created with with the intent of “creating straight from the heart right to the people without any middle hands,” which gives the artists involved the “opportunity for creation, collaboration, and compilation sonically and visually.” With this in mind, the artists involved in the label will continue to work with their current record labels. After the jump, you can watch both of the promotional videos for Ingrid.

[Watch] Florence & The Machine, Lykke Li on Austin City Limits

Since the new year began we've had the pleasure of watching Arcade Fire along with Fleet Foxes and Joanna Newsom perform on Austin City Limits and this weekend the good stuff kept on coming. This week the entertainment was given by Florence & The Machine who performed some cuts from Ceremonials along with "Dog Days" which is still a firm live favourite for many. Bringing in the second half of the show was Swedish songstress, Lykke Li who rounded out the show with tracks from her latest LP, Wounded Rhymes. Catch the re-run of the show at the top of the page.

[Listen] Miike Snow - "Black Tin Box" Feat. Lykke Li

We all got a little excited when out of nowhere Miike Snow returned with the track "Devil's Work" and then quickly followed it up with "Paddling Out" and details of their LP Happy to You. It'll hit stores on the 27th of March via Downtown/Universal Republic just so you can mark your calendars. The band have just uploaded another track from the album which features fellow Swede, and recently signed model, Lykke Li. Titled "Black Tin Box", it's a spacey chilled out track that'll have you drifting off to another planet. (Via P4K)

The band also announced a US tour, the dates of which can be found over here.

[Watch] Lykke Li - "Youth Knows No Pain" (Live Acoustic Session)

There's a few female artists that stop me in my tracks when they perform. Annie Clark is one, Alice Glass would be another, Lykke Li has slowly become one this year following the release of her LP, Wounded Rhymes. It's nto as in your face as Alice Glass, or the seductive hands of Annie on the guitar but there's definitely something about Lykke that has me motionless when she performs. This latest acoustic performance comes with a full band backing and a dark looking blood red draped room.
