[#SKOA30] DAY 5: A Song That You Always Wanna Party To

This one’s coming out later than I wanted because apparently I decided to really own the theme for today because I partied all night and am just now able to get to this.

We know how I love making playlists. My favorite ones to make are for parties. I normally try to cater them to the attendees that have RSVP’d, but a song that I always love to toss in for good measure is the bop that just wont stop known as The Rapture’s “Whoo! Alright-Yeah…Uh Huh” from their 2006 album, Pieces Of The People We Love. The bouncey bass just puts the biggest smile on my face My goofy ass always want to act out the lyrics at the end, which always makes for an entertaining moment at any party really.

[Watch] The Rapture - "How Deep Is Your Love?" (Official Video)

In the new video for The Rapture's "How Deep Is Your Love?" we see a miniature version of the band's vocalist and frontman Luke Jenner singing amongst the company of three old ladies. While they try on hats, Jenner is there. While they have a tea party, Jenner is there. While they go to church, Jenner is there. Everywhere these ladies go, lil' Jenner tags along, and they all seem to be having an awesome time. Check it out above.

"How Deep Is Your Love?" was included on The Rapture's latest LP In The Grace Of Your Love.

[Watch] The Rapture - "In the Grace of Your Love" (Official Video)

The Rapture have let loose the visuals for the title track from last year's In the Grace of Your Love, with Melissa Jones in the director's chair. The video comes across as an interactive art piece of sorts, with vibrant colors and lights drowning out the members of the band in a kaleidoscope dreamscape that would fit perfectly in an empty studio space in the middle of Williamsburg. Not to mention, lead singer Luke Jenner stares with lifeless eyes into the camera while some guy dances magnificently behind him. Check it out over at Dream The End.

In the Grace of Your Love is out now via DFA Records.

[Watch] The Rapture - "Sail Away" (Official Video)

Taken from their latest LP In the Grace of Your Love, The Rapture return with an unusual video for their track "Sail Away". It features the bands lead singer Luke Jenner battling with a silver bag of sorts and also some Lord of the Flies style conch blowing. Could you fight your way out of a paper bag? Well, think how hard it would be to do in a silver bag. Damn.

In the Grace of Your Love is out now.
