[Watch] Mumford & Sons, Vampire Weekend, The Vaccines and First Aid Kit Cover The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends" at Glastonbury 2013

Sunday night saw Mumford & Sons return to the stage for the first time since bassist Ted Dwane underwent emergency brain surgery. The band headlined the main stage during the final evening of Glastonbury 2013, and closed their performance with a cover of The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends." It wasn't just Mumford and co., though, as they were joined on stage by members of Vampire Weekend, First Aid Kit and The Vaccines. Closing out the festival with a little help from their friends. Appropriate.

[Watch] Jack White x First Aid Kit - "We're Going to be Friends" Live in Paris

Jack White recently invited First Aid Kit to come on stage with him at Paris’ Olympia on July 2nd. They performed a rendition of The White Strpies' "We're Going to Be Friends" a track the Söderberg sisters had previously covered with Bright Eyes for a compilation called: Cool for School: For the Benefit of the Lunchbox Fund. Check out the footage of the performance at the top via Fake Walls.

[Watch] First Aid Kit - "Blue" (Official Video)

Johanna and Klara Söderberg aka First Aid Kit have offered up a visual accompaniment for their track "Blue" which features on The Lion's Roar. The sisters do appear in the video but taking centre stage is the veteran Swedish actress Ewa Fröling. A touching video showing Ewa going about her daily business and the troubles she has when visiting a local bonfire. See what you make of it up at the top.

[Listen] First Aid Kit - "Dancing Barefoot" (Patti Smith Cover)

Following up the Beyoncé cover we saw heard from Sleigh Bells earlier, First Aid Kit have also offered up a cover song whilst visiting a radio station. Must be the Spring air fast approaching. As TwentyFourBit points out the Swedish duo visited French Radio station Le Mouv and laid down their interpretation of Patti Smith's 1979 track, "Dancing Barefoot". These two never cease to amaze me and bring a little shiver to my spine with their soaring vocals and harmonies. Beautiful stuff.

[Listen] First Aid Kit - 'The Lion's Roar' (Full Album Stream)

Take a listen to the full album titled The Lion's Roar from First Aid Kit courtesy of our friends at TwentyFourBit. 24Bit also point out that you'll notice album close "King of the World" features some additional vocals from none other than Conor Oberst. We loved "Emmylou" but let's see if the whole album can tickle our fancy and have us falling in love with the duo all over again.

The album is out now on Wichita Recordings.

[Watch] First Aid Kit - "Emmylou" (Official Video)

With First Aid Kit's new album The Lion's Roar, set to drop in just a few weeks on the 23rd of January the ladies have offered up some official visual treats for your eyes. For their beautiful track "Emmylou" it has been given an equally easy on the eye video seeing the girls in the desert on what looks to be a spiritual awakening of some kind. Whatever it is they're up to it looks fun and I hope to one day take a trip into the mountains/desert like this, throw on a poncho and see where my mind takes me. Hopefully it won't be like Homer's weird trip in that episode of The Simpsons. The girls manage to not break the sun in this video though.

Enjoy the video at the top and look out for the album when it drops via Wichita Recordings later in the month.
